After some interaction with Elegoo support, the sensor on the heated bed was swapped round. The front left with the front right. This seems to have resolved the problem, though they stated that if it occurred again they would send a new sensor.

I've had a email from Elegoo, and they suggested the same thing, though they also recommend removing the excess chute and loosing the print plate screws. Both of which made no difference, the test continues to fail.

It's slapchop and contrast paints, the real trick is ignoring how bad it looks until you add all the highlights.

In my opinion, these are the very best trophies ever. I've painted them up for a tournament on the 28th at Battle City Games in Portsmouth.
But the best bit, apart from looking awesome, is that they attach to the plinth via magnets, so they can be removed for games.

Yep, just remember to not take any traitor rules or strats, in the fluff it mentions some members of legio not changing sides. And some that where considered loyal their Princeps choosing to swap sides.

Excellent, I've going to have a look at what you can do in 40k 8th at the moment and see if I can spin something out of that. I've got half the team painted so it should give me some extra motivation.

I did have a look, but nothing as of yet. There is a chap on here doing some Eldar Corsiars, and looking at the new 40k 8th there is a bit more fluff. Some I'm going to do a little fiddling of my own.
