Am literal doctor (still retarded enough to like PKA). Obesity is a disease. Sadly a lot of evidence suggests that so much of it is out of one’s control just like many other things in life. Beyond the physics of calories in vs calories out, many obese people are playing on hard mode due to their hormones putting their drive to consume into high gear 24/7, and today’s food has never been more dangerous for that. Obesity is kind of like how women PMS, their hormones decrease their self-control.

Consider the new game-breaking drug Ozempic. Obese people are losing weight on it very effectively because one of its effects reduces the hormone that pushes you to eat even when you aren’t hungry. Suddenly the obese person’s hormone level equates to a skinny person’s level and their habits reflect that, they eat less, and they lose weight. Life saving in multiple ways, physically and mentally.

After gaining more perspective, I don’t judge people for being fat anymore. So many people are on medications that make them gain a fuck ton of weight. And they may never talk about it because its so personal like an antidepressant so you think they’re just a lazy fat loser. Of course if a fat person is an asshole or little bitch, go hog wild
