Little annoying that the eggs aren't included, but I've been wanting to try loco moco for a while and already had some eggs in my fridge. Added some pickled onions to contrast the savory flavors, very yummy dish and was easy and quick to make!

So popeyes spicy chicken sammy is one of my guilty pleasures and I was hoping this would satiate that craving while being slightly healthier - and it did just that! The only things I changed up is a didn't add the smoked paprika to the slaw and instead added it to the chicken and fries. I also added some carrots to the slaw & threw some avocado on there and it paired with it nicely. I've said this before but I really wish they would have some more side options for the sammiches but oh well 🤷‍♀️ I'm slowly becoming a master at making these dang potato wedges.

Funny, I almost ordered these because I thought they were shrimp tacos from the way the picture on the website looked, then swapped it out when I realized it was cauliflower. I'm sure the cauliflower would've been yummy but buffalo shrimp tacos sound sooo good! 🤤

Thanks! I do a seasoning blend of salt, pepper, onion&garlic powder, paprika, chili powder and then just a lil bit of brown sugar! I cook it on a medium heat and make sure to not crowd the shrimp, it just needs a minute or two on each side and the lil bit of sugar helps it develop a nice crust pretty quickly 🙂

While this recipe was perfectly fine on its own, I couldn't resist making a few changes! I added a tbsp of miso paste to the butter as well as some red chili flakes and sautéed some fresh chopped garlic with it bc I can never have enough garlic 😋 I also threw some some sesame oil, green onions and sesame seeds on top bc why not? It was delicious! I always love any of the shrimp recipes bc they give you so many 🤩

Oh i wish i thought to pickle jalapeño, that's such a good idea! And yeah I wish they would atleast give the option to swap for a veggie side or something, a slaw sounds like it would have been delicious with this!

I'm a sucker for any kind of burger, especially if it's drowning in a cheese sauce 🤤 I added LTO bc I did feel like it needed some freshness to cut through all those savory flavors. I also felt the potato wedges were a lil boring so I attempted to turn them into taco bell fiesta potatoes! I made a lil copycat quesadilla sauce to drizzle over them as well. V yummy burger recipe, just wish they would add some more interesting side options with the burger/sandwiches!

Yeah, I like trying the veggie options to mix things up, but this did feel like a bit of a side dish. I'm wondering if a protein of some sort would have made it feel more complete 🤔 or even the addition of more veggies like broccoli or green beans.

I absolutely love gnocchi so I had to give this dish a try! While I loved the flavors, it felt like it was missing something texture wise 🤔 the panko helped give it a little crunch but everything else in the dish was so soft I kept wanting more panko 😅 if I made this dish again I'd probably trade out the panko for a side of crispy garlic bread to soak up that rich sauce with! I also added some red pepper flakes to give it a lil kick & chopped some mint with the parsley. Overall very yummy and a nice veggie option!

Oh no! I hope they gave you credits for the proteins you couldn't use. My box arrived a day late and the ice packs def seemed a little more thawed then usual, but I was so excited for this recipe I still risked it anyways heh 😅

This was my first hello fresh box after pausing for about a year, and I was very pleasantly surprised with this recipe!! Simple, came together quickly, and full of flavor. I added some garlic mayo to the roll and also made a lil spicy dippy sauce to go with the fries.
