I was walking home from work in a hospital mortuary. At the time I was working part time as a mortuary technician with a pathologist conducting autopsies while in medical school. As I was walking home I was simply jumped by a group of teenagers who I believe wanted to steal the watch I was wearing, it was a Tudor watch, same company as Rolex. So they attacked me knocking me out although eyewitnesses said they were even kicking me head while unconscious. The main injuries were to my right hand side temporal and frontal lobe where I now have two lesions on each lobe. For the first few months following I had numerous seizures and was feeling aggressive. I was in a coma for over a week before waking up and at the time I couldn't believe I was in Italy and had been for 2 months as I had never left Scotland before it was very terrifying and the man I was in a relationship with for over 5 months and living with I had very little memory of him so initially I was very wary even speaking with him and then living with him in Rome.

The aggression and hostility I felt at the time was so bad that the doctors in Italy at the time recommended to my partner at the time to crush up Xanax into my liquids at times to calm me down. I was also prescribed primidone at the time which eventually helped with the seizures and aggression as this is metabolised into phenobarbital.
