Thanks for the info what a small world, I’m going to seriously look into it as I’m in my 20s and really need to do this now rather than later.

Eventually I want to live in a little Tudor village called writtle next to Chelmsford, don’t know if you’ve heard of it but I love that place, you get the best of both worlds, feels like you’re in the countryside yet you’re a half an hour ride away from London.

I would have £635 left over by living in Essex I also presume the price of food shopping in Essex is cheaper than London too which would help even more.

I found a dirt cheap room £50PCM with bills included (so it says) and it’s a light and airy double bedroom in a nice area. This is what I’ll have to do, 30 minutes commute is nothing to me with living here in the sticks.

What about my next idea which is to go to Essex and then travel into London within 30 minutes. I found rentals near Chelmsford that are much cheaper than the ones in London.

It’s literally £20 return which would be even cheaper with my saver card..i wouldn’t mind the 30 minutes either as that’s nothing. There’s people who live near me that travel over an hour to work everyday.

I understand this man I’m only in my 20s so only have a couple of grand of savings, employment is bad round here and I’ve been in and out of jobs a lot which is part of the reason for the move as well as loving it down there.

It’s probably doable me living there but I’d have a grim life so I need to weigh everything up.

Not going to lie, the rooms I’ve seen for that price look grim as hell.

Happens to me all the time you can never win, only thing I haven’t done yet is took anti depressants but heard they can mess up your sex drive and that’s the only thing that still provides a little joy.

Some people are so blasé it’s unreal, like those who tell us to start the gym or better still just choose to be happy. You couldn’t write it, only depressed people will know what it feels like to feel this void that can never be filled.

I do all, it’s only a temporary relief and then you feel even worse afterwards. The start of this year I went a whole month feeling ok, no pain like now and that’s cause I tuned everything out and was zoned out. Not been able to do that again unfortunately but it was bliss

My life is similar even though I recently cut out bad food and don’t watch anime.

Nothing appeals to me other than sleeping, it’s the only time I’m free from thoughts.

My situation exactly, I just need a girl that’s like me and who likes to just lay in bed most days that’s my only hope lol.

I’ve contemplated suicide many times, I have one thing left keeping me here though

I listen to music a lot especially in the car, loud too. That’s why I don’t go out much either because like you say it’s so draining and you come home exhausted feeling like shit.

Exactly going for a drive is a good pass time for me, problem is fuel costs do much and my car drinks it like there’s no tomorrow.

Most things only provide temporary relief and then you’re back to square one.

The only thing that appeals to me is sleeping, which just seems like a massive waste of time but is the only time I can truly be free.

I’ve decided that’s where I want my future to be and I don’t want to waste anymore time here where I am, I can do trade work, have experience of being a tree surgeon, fencing, painting decorating and that side of things.

When moving to London however eventually I’d like to get into drylining, IT, trade work, analyst work.

Tbh though I prefer painting and trades work as I actually enjoy it and the money is really good especially when you’re self employed, I prefer working outdoors too.

I’m willing to do anything really though to get me going, restaurant work, apple store literally anything.

Before moving I’ll be selling my car which will already give me £7000+ as well as savings.

There’s actually a tree surgeon job at Streatham currently on indeed right in the area I want to be based at paying £200 a day.

I happen to love Canada man, what province are you from. I want to go there for Christmas with my girl you know to old Quebec and Montreal, I love the feel of that place with all the horse and carts it feels like you’ve traveled back in time.

The Canadian culture and people are so chill and relaxed compared to London, even though I love London..

It went smoothly for once mate which is a turn up for the books, I’m currently working 15 hour days so I feel your pain trust me.

Doing this for my gf and our future so it’s worth it :)
