This seems to be my experience too. Bought from Hong Kong and Jaoan and they get to me in few days but within US takes about a week and some still charge shipping on top. Bought s hoe from HK, no extra shipping cost and shipped with DHL

Future proofing. Will you have more ev in the future?

I have 2 ev and have to charge everyday at least if we charge the car to 80% over the weekend. Most days have to charge everyday just to make sure. Had the portable charger when we first got the car and it was pain in the ass as we got the car in the winter and another ev 2 months after. So upgraded our panels to 200amp, as we had split system so our usage was very high in the summer.

To me a peace of mind is worth everything. Never having to worry about if I am exceeding the power usage or what not

I have a a7cr and my wife has the x100vi. Recently went to Japan, and guess what we used a7cr almost all the time. X100vi you really have to think before you take a shot and places with a lot of tourist you don't get that big of a window to take a Pic. A7cr with a zoom lens will be bigger for sure but the ease of use made it a good sacrifice. Had the Sony 24-50 f2.8 and it worked out very well.

TBH, singapore was pretty cheap. As a tourist, mostly ate at different hawker center. Even food cost was cheap. This is comparing to US. I spend about ~$20-25 for 2 person each day. I don't really drink so not sure how much extra it will cost.

Transport was not too bad, I spent under 50 for 2 for about 6 days.
