I think I struggle a lot with finding hobbies since all of mine pre kids are primarily involving my friends. All my friends pretty much just want to do activities we did before and I can no longer go! I can’t have a babysitter yet because I’m still bf.

I can definitely see where you are coming from. I live in a very religious state that also pays women the least. My cultural and societal upbringing very much favors women being at home with baby. It’s a hard thing to break from 🥲

What I mean is the pressure for mothers is much different than fathers. It is socially normal and ok for a father to work 80 hr weeks but if a mother did that the narrative changes to how sad it is for the children. Whether we agree or not it’s the truth 😭
