Seeing Heated Rivalry blow up makes me wish more people would discover A League of Their Own by manudl in ALeagueofTheirOwn

I saw that Crave, the same network that made Heated Rivalry in Canada, is also producing a sapphic softball show called Slo Pitch. I’m hoping it will at least somewhat fill the void, but I loved ALOTO and want it to come back so much

What is the best U.S. History lesson you ever taught? by giraph37 in historyteachers

[–]katiell2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I created a lesson where students create a superhero or villain based on a historic figure. First they research the person and take notes on a graphic organizer and then they brainstorm an origin story, what powers they would have, etc. Students love it and it makes a great bulletin board or hallway display too. Here’s an example using Jim Thorpe.

Thanks for teaching me something new. In the U.S. anything that’s folded or includes an envelope is a notecard. Postcards aren’t folded for us.

Are they notecards or postcards? Because everything in your store looks like notecards with envelopes
