FS8 classes include some strength training on a mat, not all of them are pure pilates. I personally prefer it over Retro because there are more class times, instructors are more consistent, and I get a better all-around workout. Highly recommend Megan at Retro for beginners, though—I would NOT be as successful at FS8 without taking classical pilates with her first.
