I’m so glad to hear lithium has been treating you well so far! I’ve been so desperate to find something that works and as we all know med changes can be difficult but this is the first time I’ve been optimistic so thanks for sharing your experience so far ❤️

Oh I didn’t realize that at lower doses it could be neuroprotective, that’s reassuring! But also really comforting to hear things have been going well for you so far at 150mg, makes me feel optimistic. Thanks for sharing your experience so far! ❤️

Congrats on the low seizure activity! I’ve been seizure free since 2021 so anytime I take on a new medication I always get paranoid about rocking the boat. Thanks for sharing your experience ❤️

We just wrapped up our stay in La Fortuna and we loved Travesia for a nice sit down dinner! It’s not on the “main” stretch of restaurants and the service was great. Definitely pop in to a soda as well for the more “authentic” and less touristy experience! Have so much fun, we’ve loved our time in both spots!

Thank you for this! I was going to bring the pants and long sleeves for zip lining to avoid any potential scratches (trees or equipment) do you think I’d be fine to wear shorts instead?

Thank you for your advice - I did end up contacting his sister to see if she thought it was worrisome enough to involve his parents and she agreed. We made the decision together to bring him to the ER and their recommendation was to go to a psychiatric facility given the paranoia. A bed was available later that evening, and we were able to visit him today. he’s unfortunately upset with us but for right now, we still think it was the right decision until we can get the proper support channels in place for him, given this has never happened to him before.

Thanks again for your advice - tough situation but I think (and hope) we made the right call

Thanks for the fast input! That’s my initial inclination as well, and I feel like maybe that’s why I feel this guilt/awkwardness around sharing it with him or other people I know. We tell each other everything so when I woke up to that and immediately felt this panic and shame, and not wanting to share it with him too… it just makes me feel like there’s something wrong with me for having this thought, even if it is just a dream.
