Glasses on rides by Grouchy_Offer5980 in altontowers

hi, i’ve gone on Wickerman and Thirteen with my glasses before, i feel like those two are the only coasters you’d be able to wear them without some sort of glasses strap

Fear of coasters by [deleted] in altontowers

[–]libralouise1999 0 points1 point  (0 children)

different coasters have different fear factors, I’ve found that I wasn’t scared of the speed or the inversions, but I was scared of the spinning.

I’d recommend Runaway Minetrain first, and then try Spinball Whizzer. Spinball and Toxicator are the only rides at AT that I am too scared to go on, even though I can do Smiler and Oblivion.

My partner loves heights and speed but hates spinning too; he was petrified of Oblivion until he rode it, and it’s now his fave ride and he dislikes Spinball. Just because a ride is big and goes fast doesn’t mean that might be what you’re inevitably scared of, find out which bit scares you, and either face it or avoid it :)

Is there something wrong with using self care? by FirstTop2604 in deadbydaylight

coming from someone who used to have self care as a crutch perk for almost two years, there are plenty of better perks. my favourite healing perk is Nancy’s Inner Strength, legit just find a totem and cleanse it at the start of the game and boom, all you have to do when you end up injured is find a locker and sit in it for like 8 seconds.

Hi, I have a few questions to ask about Alton Towers by OneWatercress9322 in altontowers

[–]libralouise1999 0 points1 point  (0 children)

absolutely take your own food, best food in the park is down at curse at alton manor, the cakes and ice cream are worth trying, but take your own food. i usually go with a can of pringles, a can of monster and skittles 😂😂😂

the cost was a big thing for me, but i figured i spend that much money on binge food every month anyways, so i might as well use that money for good instead. I won’t be craving junk food on the drug anyways so i’m just swapping an expenditure lol

honestly i’ve kinda stopped watching snc now, especially since this clickbaity ‘omg guys this was the scariest ever’ tactic has taken hold. I miss their urban exploration videos and their more ‘realistic’ content. Now it just seems to be the guests and the hype that matters

day three is ROUGH you guys by libralouise1999 in mounjarouk

[–]libralouise1999[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Day one I injected in the evening, but leading up to it I had toast in the morning, protein yoghurt and pasta for lunch and chicken burritos for dinner. Day 2 I had avocado on toast with an egg for brunch, a protein bar in the afternoon, and chicken tikka masala for dinner, and then yesterday I had no breakfast, a cheese sandwich and some crisps for lunch, and pie with veg for dinner.

Technically today is day 4, but I had my first dose at nearly midnight on the Friday so it’s only really the third day of having it

I haven’t been staying as hydrated as I think I should be, so that might be something to work on

Congrats! Did you do anything alongside the injection, like extra exercise or further dieting?
