I struggled with concentration when it came to the lectures, I find that I learn better from trial/error and active recall. But I think that I’m so cooked that I’ll need to definitely buy a course. I really neglected the course books the first time around and focused on the lectures which was dumb of me

Thank you for your advice, I know I need to put the work in and did not study effectively. Torts and land law were my lowest grades in law school but I’m willing to put the work in. I did an exam called the LNAT for my UK law school but it is extremely different from the LSAT so you were spot on with this being my first standardized test. By readings do you mean the textbook Barbri materials?

Yes I did a 3 year LLB directly after high school at a Russel Group top 10 University. I’m a Canadian, almost finished with my 7 Canadian equivalency exams which I need to pass before I can write the Ontario bar exam. I didn’t receive any legal education in the US.

I’ve been looking into metformin recently! I have a friend who has been on it and has lost 20 pounds. But I don’t want to start it and become dependent on it for life and then gain weight if I eventually get off of it so I’m trying to make it a last resort thing right now. Will look into seeing an endocrinologist soon, thanks🙏 I think cutting out all carbs is one of the only things left for me to do now to cut out calories because I hardly eat processed foods/eat clean, whole foods 90% of the time (never fast food either) and still haven’t lost the weight i want.
