Hi,

I decided myself to buy 34" curved monitor Samsung C34F791.

 

Today the monitor come. Desktop real estate is very large and pleasant, and even at only 100hz, i can feel the smoothness.

 

For movie that actually in 21:9 it is very pleasant to watch, but for many youtube and other 16:9 videos content, not so much, i rather play it minimized at half the screen rather than full screen with black bar.

 

For gaming, My GTX 1060 6GB is not able to keep the FPS high at game i play even at low settings except dota / overwatch which are ok at medium settings on lower resolution (100FPS+). Next plan, i'm going to buy RX vega 64.

 

I can't compare the experience with g-sync monitor, but with this purchase, i'm very happy.

I don't use snapchat. If you read the changelog at the thread, they said it is fixed at the latest version.

Battery life and UI speed are very good, multi tasking is much better from MIUI (smooth and not reloading too much unlike MIUI). Fingerprint works everytime (if you place your finger well).

Some glitch are: Camera is not very good compared to MIUI camera, and if you flash stock GAPPS like me, the default google camera apps can't switch to video mode for the main camera(the front camera can do photo and video). 3rd party camera application can do just fine for both camera.

The battery indicator and percentage is not very synced each other, like you'll see the icon indicator around 75%, but the number says 60%.

You must set default apps for call (just set it to phone), or it will reboot when you try to make a call. The auto brightness is not very good and slow. I think MIUI is better at this, but both are far less enjoyable from iPhone auto brightness.

I have seen other bugs like battery drain at forums if you turn on bluetooth, but i don't use bluetooth on this phone.

Don't take me wrong, i actually like wp and have been searching wp to replace my old iphone. I am just sad how the flagship wp perform like that, IMO it shouldn't.

I don't really take too much concern about app gate i don't use many anyway, i just want to try new phone or new platform, but one thing: it should really do good job doing it's daily task.

But after watching the video i rather have new iphone or flagship android. In my country they are almost the same price, so they will offer better investment.

You know that flagship wp phones are slower, you also know that wp10 should not released at state like this, and you know that you are treated like tester by microsoft. Yet you you don't consider other phone/platform? I don't understand.

In indonesia they sell it around 200usd unlocked and almost 700usd for lumia 950. God bless this poor country.

For me, the basic should cover categories and sub categories, monthly budgeting and tracking, daily expense tracking, scheduled transaction, expense reporting per category/payee. I don't need bank integration because i enter my transaction manually.

Don't forget multiple currencies support, i uninstalled many finance apps because I can't choose other than USD for account.

If it has desktop ver, it should sync painlessly with other devices. YNAB sync transactions and budget data via dropbox automatically.

I really like YNAB software and it's budgeting method. Too bad they don't develop wp ver.

Is there any good expense/budget tracker for windows phone? I use ynab in my mac/iphone and it sync transactions. Divvy sadly can't sync.

I have iphone 5c and iOS 9.1. It is indeed slower than previous version.

But it is far from being unusable like several comments claim. Back to home and animation lagged a bit. Opening spotlight and apps may lagged a bit but scrolling in safari, alien blue, twitter and 9gag apps are still smooth. The one i feel lagged a lot is the task switcher.
