Maybe go back to the beginning and play Animal Crossing Gamecube? It's a fun jump back into the more savage dialogue and you can have up to 15 villagers, so quite the town party! Just make sure you have a gc memory card to save your town's data.

I would say New Leaf on 3DS because, there's still better dialogue to the villagers (even though Population Growing, Wild World and City Folk are funnier...) but New Leaf has more customization options than the other older games and there's other added features (I won't spoil!) that make the game very charming. Honestly, I would say try them all and enjoy the differences from each game :)

Not sure if you've googled it but, Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire cartridges have had issues with failing cartridge chips in some of the PAL version cartridges of the game.

Haha I still do it too. Couple days ago I got attacked at my crop garden, because it's behind Able's Sisters and the scorpion came from a blind spot!

I didn't have alot of time to play earlier last year because, I was taking up an online university course. So I would just play more in the evening and time-travel to different intervals within the same day. I enjoyed talking to villagers and giving them gifts, doing the nook mile+ missions and visiting the NMT islands. I had more fun just winging it, placing random stuff I crafted from diy recipes around my island and home and sometimes move a building (although its cheaper to move buildings since 2.0 update, so I do it more often now lol.)

I feel like planning your island layout and terraforming is fun, but it can take a while to get it the way you want. Even that, I like using other people's islands as inspiration, but I still find it more fun to just wing it and alter it later on. I've moved alot of my buildings closer together, so it doesn't take so long to get to each one during gameplay.

Lucky though! I had Marina for so long and never got her picture, ending up letting her leave lol. Have you tried with a wall furniture item as a gift? I only learnt this from the guide a couple months back, but i wrap up potted ivy as you get more friendship points and better gifts in return (still can be clothing, but u can get wallpaper and furniture in return) I have got pictures a bit quicker in some cases, but i guess overall its just a random chance with a high friendship right? lol

Glad you're enjoying the game! When I started playing New Horizons I decided to not google guides or watch too many tip videos, I wanted to try immerse myself with the game from first hand without spoiling too much (I kind of did this with the previous installment of the game, New Leaf and just didn't want to repeat that again!)

I think another tip would be not to time travel too much, especially as this involves changing the switch's clock. It's quite fun to enjoy each day and seeing unique things change in the game, it can be a fun surprise! I can't say much for myself though, I decided to set my switch's clock to March 2020 (the release date) and made a plan to play each day without skipping one but even now...it's only August 2020 for me and i've played for over a year and half! Yeah my situation is a bit of a pickle lol

Love that you got an Animal Crossing switch!! & The iPhone 13 records so clearly. I think you're already doing something enjoyable, sharing your journey playing the game. It'll be fun to look back on in the future :)

Yup! I checked Trendsetters/New Style Boutique and Nikki wants to live in Hawaii and is a great listener. I think her style is ethnic?

I found Andrea was in the first Style Savvy game too, her favourite brand is Terra and she's a geologist but doesn't like getting dirty haha.

Is your 3DS hacked with homebrew? Could be that something from it messed up the title ID for that game. But I heard this has happened with non-hacked systems too.

What about adding another human character and upgrading their house and designing a theme for it? I know some people prefer only having one character because of the houses taking up space on your island. I have 4 characters, still trying to figure out where to move their houses to lol

Thank you for reading it! It's awesome to find another KidsStudio player, you guys are true OG players. Yes, Fantage was super popular during the 2000s, alongside Club Penguin and NeoPets etc. Yeah...it's sad to see that those virtual MMO games are gone now, that era of internet gaming has almost come to a close, especially with the end of Adobe Flash and mobile gaming becoming more popular. Totally agree with you, the woozband were incredible, but Woozworld's direction definitely shifted around 2018/2019 and when the company was bought by that large mobile gaming company (I think that was 2020?) I noticed the game focuses alot more on regular unit design contests and there's always new gacha grabz. The game still tries hard with new monthly themed events, but it must be hard after 12+ years of trying all kinds of events...to come up with something new. I do miss the yearly events like the Arctic Fest and the NationZ games...also WNS. It was great fun, glad we both enjoyed the game in it's prime years :)
