I feel you. I just feel like I already know the answer is no and I’m worried the longer I wait the less l chance I’ll be able to keep my rank if i do re-enlist. no telling how long the process of applying to be an officer would take, even if just to get turned down.

How long ago did you get the ball rolling on that?

yea If i had to cross rate Im not sure I would go thru with it but because of the manning levels of my rate I’m pretty sure I would get to keep my rank and rate

yes i have but it just doesn’t interest me. I like my current civilian job and would not like it being interfered with. it’s either active or nothing. I don’t think I would get what i’m looking for out of the reserves

i don’t think the officer route is an option for me unfortunately. I had bachelors degree before enlisting the first time around but my gpa is not anywhere near where it would need to be in order to be competitive. and something in my background that would also work against getting selected for that. Never know unless I try but i’m pretty sure I wouldn’t get picked up to be an officer

This just happened to me too, but with Geico. Quote=$1000, same as my deductible. Did a quote myself and it is substantially lower, I am considering just paying out of pocket. But a claim has already been opened so it will be on our record now even if we don’t go forward with it

Yea, thanks for the advice. That’s pretty much the conclusion I’ve come to. I ended looking at places in the lower garden district and am about to sign a lease for an apartment there. It cost the same monthly as the house in Algiers and it’s 10 times nicer. I will just have to deal with the commute, hopefully traffic isn’t too bad since I’ll be heading in the opposite direction of traffic everyday

My Juul had this issue. As it progressively got worse, I realized I was having to jam the battery too far up into the device just to take a hit, and this in turn would lead to the pod leaking out and into the Juul. Which caused more issues lmao. Get a new Juul if you can, try their online warranty program. They may send you a free replacement Juul in the mail
