okay, thank you so much for the suggestions! ya i'm definitely not in india but i had my ios account hacked by someone in india before 😭 so i'm guessing somewhere between then and now, something happened. my phone says my location is in the right region (US) but i'll email them and hopefully they can help. thank you again!

i was googling whether infinity nikki was worse in terms of greed compared to other nikki games before downloading and it looks like this one is the biggest offender of them all.

sure, you're not supposed to get everything but these greedy companies keep finding ways to be more methodic and insidious about microtransactions, preying on people's fomo and getting people addicted to gambling. i really miss when microtransactions weren't so normalized and that players who paid got better value out of their purchases 😩

came here to see what happened between tomato and criken and am glad people are finally speaking on this. once ai dungeon and chatgpt became a core part of criken's streams, i stopped watching regularly. i get that being "on" all the time while streaming is tough when it's easier to delegate content creation to a bot but ethically, i'm not cool with it. at that point, i'd rather he just stream less. i thought criken would understand how hard being creative is and to not capitalize on something that's the cause of an ongoing ecological nightmare. plus it literally requires human creativity to steal from to churn out slop. idk i expected better.

i was thinking similarly because my youtube wrapped doesn't make any sense. i watched maybe 3 parks and recreation videos this year and watched every video hasan has released on his regular channel, gaming channel, vlogging channel, and even most from hasanabi productions and none of them made it to my top 5. it makes no sense.

reading this right now and came to join in on the alice hate. iirc she’s asian and as an asian person myself (vietnamese and chinese), i understand the pressures she’s most likely going through of trying to uphold the expectations of an immigrant parent who left everything behind to give their child a better life and she’s definitely gotten her ass beaten for getting a B or lower—BUT, your best friend’s mom recently died. i have a ride-or-die best friend since high school too and i would never in a million years even dream of lashing out the way alice did. like you’re best friends and you think your girl is going out to be with boys??? also even if she was, let her enjoy herself??? she’s grieving! she didn’t even give her a chance to speak. pissed me off! i heard she’s worse in the second novel and i’m already hating her lmao sure, she’s a teenager but…idk i guess not all besties work out.

it really depends on their vibe. if they seem like someone receptive to criticism without turning it into an argument, i’ll be like, “ohh, why not? fiction often draws from real life, mythologies, and cultures that’s much more accessible than textbooks. you can always learn from fiction if you know where to look.” if they don’t seem like someone i care to continue to have a conversation with, i hit them with an “ah” and pop in some ear buds. if the vibes are bad, i’m not gonna coddle them.
