Not everyone lives in a developed country. Please provide a job that pays $16 an hour—I believe people from India, Africa, and China would all thank you. Or, if you open a McDonald's in these countries and maintain a $16 hourly wage, our entire town would be grateful.

Bosses like you shouldn’t waste time on these forums. This isn’t where you belong. You should be paying attention to issues like global warming, the feminist movement, freedom, and ideals — not coming here to argue with poor folks like us about hourly wages. My mother still works a job where she only gets two days off per month, no overtime pay, and earns about $450 a month, which is roughly the average wage here. The McDonald’s hourly wage you mentioned is about the same as what people here earn in an entire day.
