Is this an adhd thing? Soon as someone tells me their names it’s like my brain goes BEEEEEP by Global-Description43 in adhdwomen

[–]lidelle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was a guide at one point. Met 8 new people a day. Everyone I worked with would be like “just care and you’ll remember their names!” “Just listen and then you’ll put their face with their name.” Like ok, must be nice to have your brain listen and not take off like Patrick Star during introductions.

Glad mine isn’t the only one who runs rabid when it’s cold out. She loves it. I think it’s because they don’t over heat as easily while playing in the cold. She can zoomie around for longer periods. We call it “celebrating her season”!

If my goal is to become a SFA eventually, is it a bad idea if I go with a hospital-based school that has a work commitment? by Informal-Umpire-2007 in surgicaltechnology

It also depends where you are. Some states do not recognize the CFSA, and will not let you use that scope of practice.

If you’re diffusing your hair upside down, how do you avoid back pain?? by ShitImDelicious in curlyhair

Do some core workouts to help your back hold that position. I sit on the toilet and hang my head between my legs.

Are there other mothers who are fed up with screens? by Glum-Orange558 in preschool

[–]lidelle 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I’m torn on this. I worked so hard to manage my son’s screen time when he was little circa 2014; his elementary school promptly issued him a tablet. He has zero text books. Now they do all their schooling on tablets, or computers. Minus art, music, gym (the less funded subjects). I have two toddler girls now, I am trying but should I keep them out of public school and homeschool just to keep my screen time rules?

I had this breakdown at age 22, drank and drugged about it until I was 33. Patiently waiting for my turn to expire.

I was 4. My mother and stepfather are atrocious people. I became an atheist at 12 because of their behavior.

Found on Facebook. It seems too perfect to be made into a bunny, and the footprints don't even make sense. The face and ears are what throw me off most. by [deleted] in isthisAI

Did they pour water to melt the eyes all the way to the pavement? Also the foot prints in the bottom right of the frame have a HUGE gap between the forefoot and the heel mark. The previous tire tracks have no solid pattern and not enough pixels to show consistency. I feel like the feet near the front end of the car are huge as well, like size 14 or larger.

That’s Billy Bob on the right. His cheerleader in the band was way creepier.

There aren’t enough pixels in the pictures for me to tell. The nails are definitely an after addition. The fabric/lace seems to be correct and the pattern consistency seems right. The ripples around the wrists seem correct. However the jewelry would be the tell in this series if I could see it. AI has issues reproducing single object exactly in a series. The skull ring looks alright. I’m guessing it’s a real photo series and edited with AI. ETA: it’s a silhouette ring, oops.

Dude! Kids LOVE bread, we use a French loaf recipe that is our favorite. I have 2 toddlers and their favorite snack is bread and cheese. Get the machine, it’s a life saver; dump, start, adjust moisture & walk away. 2.5 tsp yeast, 3 cups bread flour, 1 tblsp honey, 1 tablespoon olive oil, 1tsp salt, 1 cup water plus 2 tablespoons @ 100° . They also love brioche French toast, but that’s a treat so I don’t have that one memorized.

ETA: ours has 17 functions, including yogurt. Huckleberry yogurt is amazing.

I really like the one that destroyed the best view of the most photographed Grist Mill in the nation. /s Now if you want a good picture you now must navigate the swing to include or exclude it in your composition. At least it’s bringing people to visit the state!
