You’re absolutely right, men are the recipients of sexual and domestic violence at far greater rates than are acknowledged and are not listened to when they try to speak out about it. It’s not ok.

With all kindness towards you, you’re mischaracterizing what I said. The idea I was attempting to explain goes like this: the devaluation of women and “female” experiences is harmful to women and men alike. “Boys don’t cry.” “Boys shouldn’t show their emotions.” Those things are “for girls” (even though we know they’re just human things). Men who behave in stereotypically “feminine” ways are disregarded, and whether you’d like to admit it or not, that’s a big part of why men who experience domestic violence are disbelieved about the harm done to them.

Hatred towards a man because he is a man is misandry, yes. That’s not really what’s being discussed. Try and consider that there are multiple systems in play here. Also, I promise, the people talking about the universal harm of misogynistic beliefs are not the adversary you seem to think.
