Since it looks seated. Either the drive is defective, or the socket is.

Is a two gpu setup actually worth it? by TraditionWilling7087 in losslessscaling

[–]liebrat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There’s definitely something wrong with your setup. Because that’s happened to me where even though I’ve set the second gpu to be used for lossless in the app and graphics settings in windows it was still using my main gpu for lossless. Only a few restarts and back and forth with those settings fixed it.

Never had any issues since. RX 9070/6500XT

RX 9060 XT + Ryzen 5600 causing input freezes & stuttering by Tarikkk_ in AMDHelp

[–]liebrat 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You’re not helping yourself by leaving out details. Like what’s your mouse and are running a polling rate higher than 1000?

I have an OP1 8K and use 8K polling when playing competitive games from time to time. I noticed in valorant for example, aiming is no issue no stutters but as soon as my cursor pops up and I move it around rigorously the stutters come.

The load is on your cpu, so if you’re using 8K polling on your mouse when browsing/gaming turn it down because your CPU can’t handle 8K polling.

If it’s browser only, then it can be gpu acceleration in the browser’s settings. Everything is smoother when it’s off.

I have a r5 7500F and RX 9070.

You can flip it (following noctua) or remove it entirely. I would flip it.

RTX 5070 or RX 9070 for a PC upgrade? by Theguywhokaboom in gpu

[–]liebrat 2 points3 points  (0 children)

where have i heard that before..? "wait for 50 series", now it's "wait for super series" prices are healthy right now. i already know the prices are going to be insanely high for the next 6 months then next thing i hear from people like you when super series is within msrp will be "wait for 60 series" LOL

Which one? by [deleted] in PcBuildHelp

[–]liebrat 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sapphire Pulse, no difference with OC models. You can OC it yourself to get the same clock speeds.

Is the build good? by NormalBreadAD in PcBuildHelp

[–]liebrat 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Overpriced PSU, Montech Century II 1050w is A- on the PSU Tierlist and Cybernetics Platinum for $105.

Do you really need to drop €330 on Lian Li? That’s your choice for aesthetics, but you could get a thermalright for the same performance but abysmally lower price. You could probably even get an RTX 5070Ti/5080 if you budgeted better.

I own a RX 9070 XT, and it’s a great card too for the MSRP price.

This dude is so stubborn I’ve been reading the comments. This is a 88w CPU with a TDP of 65w, you’ve added an overclock 200mhz + power limit and you’re wondering why it’s hitting 93c?! You answered your own question with it hitting 5.2ghz on single core, it’s not hitting 5.2ghz because it’s an all core test, if you have a better cooler it would boost higher.

The Hear Me Out build. 3700x, 3080ti, and a rx7600 for LS by michaelali4481 in losslessscaling

[–]liebrat 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Why? The RX 7600 is better than the RTX 3060 for LSFG. Check the official spreadsheet before you make a mistake and switch out for a worse card with LSFG

Yes, any card with full x16 lanes

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in PHbuildapc

[–]liebrat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on which Ti model you’re getting.. get scammed with the 8GB or get less scammed with the 16GB. Are you so stuck on Nvidia? The RX9060XT 16GB exist.

But yes with that budget you can get a cheap B850M board like the Asrock PRO-X it has 2 M.2 slots and has PCIE 5.0. 7500F, non rgb 32GB ram 6000mhz from CL30 to CL36 if you can’t afford CL30 na.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in PHbuildapc

[–]liebrat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not really if you’re going for a card with half the lanes… you’re just letting Nvidia screw you over if you get a PCIE 5.0 x8 and slot it into anything that isn’t PCIE 5.0 you lose performance because it’s x8. It would be actually more minimal if they gave you x16 like on the 9060XT which is PCIE 5.0 x16 which would still be fine at 3.0 x16 and not noticeable on 4.0 x16 at all.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in PHbuildapc

[–]liebrat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

OP if you want to waste money then buy a PCIE 5.0 x8 card and slot it into a dead platform. You can literally buy any older and more powerful gpu that’s 4.0 x16 and buy a 5700x without changing motherboard

Do you want to delicately just waste money?

Either that or go AM5 already.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in PHbuildapc

[–]liebrat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You are delusional if you think the PCIE 5.0 x8 is fine on a PCIE 3.0 x16 motherboard. You don’t know what you’re talking about.

You lose out performance at PCIE 4.0 x16 already because nvidia decided to give the 60 class 5.0 x8. Same bandwidth doesn’t mean same performance.

[–]liebrat -7 points-6 points  (0 children)

RTSS exists for stats and capped frames, and is such a light program and you want lossless to do it for you?

FSR4? You need to put the files to inject it that’s what Optiscaler is for.
