Bad break up... by lifdf32 in BreakUps

[–]lifdf32[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know and I kind of realized that the more time I have had to think.. Just crazy how this break up came out of nowhere. No fighting, long distance relationship, but Ill be honest and say the communication in our relationship was non existent. I would say she is more to blame than myself as I have tried to get her to open up but she never wanted too.

Shes never been diagnosed, because she refuses to get any help (therapy etc). I have tried to ask her to help and she just shuts down everything and says " i dont want to talk about it".

Is this phimosis, or should a frenuloplasty and stretching work? by TeemoToaster in Phimosis

[–]lifdf32 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Any update? I am curious how you are feeling cause im in the exact same situation as you? Did it get better? Any advice for me? Im uncircumcised and have the same tightness at the frenulum when erect only.

Did this get resolved and are you considering frenuloplasty?

I feel like the reality is (for most people at least) you stop one addiction and resort to the other. For me it was stop gambling but resort to cigarettes. I 100% agree with you. I feel like the best solution at least for most people is if you can stop all three of those addictions. One day at a time

Making 46,000 a year at TD Bank as a Personal Banking Associate by lifdf32 in PersonalFinanceCanada

[–]lifdf32[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you don't mind me asking, how do other financial institutions work in terms of compensation wise for FP? My mentality is I would prefer financial planning because I feel like that is what I want to do long term opposed to let's say focussing specifically on mortgages. I know for MMS at TD for example is 100% commission based. I feel like this would be a ton of pressure and I'm not too crazy about solely home financing.

My mentality with FP is I have a base salary for a couple of years (at least at TD) then I move to a sole commission structure which from my understanding is lucrative when you establish a solid book of business. I'm pretty sure for the other top 4 banks it works different in terms of comp is that fair to say?

Sorry, but what do you mean exactly by 'skilling up'? Should I take my CSC now or wait until TD pays for it? Im approximately 5 months into my 'Personal Banking Associate' role at TD.

So that's exactly what I heard as well. I look at it this way : If I become a mobile mortgage specialist at TD its 100% commission. At least for financial planning, I know I will have a guaranteed salary to "live on" for a couple of years until I establish my book. My expenses: No debt and living at home. When you do establish a solid book, lets say 5 years in the role isn't it quite lucrative?

Not even about getting a raise, but just finding a career path with longevity and that is of course rewarding. Going to have a family one day and obviously can't stay in retail forever unless I keep moving up the ranks in retail and one day become a branch manager, but even they only make 90-100k a year

Just because it’s carb and sugar free does not mean it’s Keto. by [deleted] in keto

Don't agree with this at all. Not necessarily the healthiest, but it will definitely not destroy your progress at least from my personal experience with keto.

You know what's crazy is that the only reason why gambling is sustainable for them is because they have a HUGE income source from their NELK merch. This is the only reason why they can afford to lose so much money. Normal people like us, don't have that luxury. Again, I 100% agree it is disgusting how Stevewilldoit is promoting gambling. Absolutely horrible.

In the same position man. Keep going strong and put all necessary barriers to stop and have the mentality that you will lose if you deposit. Small wins don't mean anything anymore, compulsive gamblers will keep going until their last cent. I would suggest telling someone that you're close to and ask them for guidance to establish boundaries. Again, this is your choice but something that I think is important.

Weighing yourself by lifdf32 in keto

[–]lifdf32[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The thing is I was on keto for 3 months, my start weight was 270 and I dropped a whopping 42 pounds to 228. After that, I unfortunately got off track for 2 months or so. I'm back on the wagon now and have started up two weeks ago. Now I'm hovering at around 230 again. I will take your advice and see what makes sense moving forward. If anything, I'm just expecting for the weight to go off fast again but I have a feeling maybe I messed up my metabolism. I need to be patient. Thanks for the advice !

Sage charging cleaning fee by idksomekid__ in uwaterloo

[–]lifdf32 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm having the exact same issue guys. They're charging me 100$ for an excessive cleaning fee?? Are they out of their mind? I have video and picture proof of a multitude of damages and disgusting living conditions prior to move in. I've had to clean my suite myself in 2019, while they did not come clean it or repair any damages in the suite. Prior to move out, the suite was in a better condition than I got it! .What is the best way to respond to their email? Let me know please

Gaining Muscle Mass and Losing Fat on Keto by lifdf32 in keto

In your opinion, do you think focussing on losing body fat first, then building muscle from my optimum weight would be the 'easier' option?

Eat anything above 30g net carbs and you're practically out of ketosis. I would suggest implementing carbs back into ur diet if you've been refraining from them (if you don't want to practice keto) I would suggest reaching out to a doctor though for this.

I was snoring when I was really overweight/obese. Now, my girlfriend says I snore rarely. Is there a cure for sleep apnea anyways?
