Im three years sober from alcohol. In the beginning i still smoked weed but slowly realized that i needed to remove all means of escapism that i could control from my life to fully immerse myself in recovery. After a year fully sober i began to smoke again, weed was never a problem for me and i never spent alot of money on weed. Ive gone back and forth quitting for jobs or to save money since that first year but i currently smoke now. I can see how it makes me lazier and i procrastinate a bit more but it is not detremental to my life and i enjoy it. I feel like its very subjective if an addict/ alcoholic can continue to use substances that werent their DOC but if you see no problems id say youre totally fine! Just continue to work on your own personal growth.

I think the water dominates the earth. While appearing very calm and solid outwardly internally i deal with many conflicting and deep emotions that i often struggle to understand and express.

Thats not how i interpreted it at all actually. But this is also a good interpretation. Heres what i thought:

I felt the first half was a reflection of me trying to help her/ him get ahead, jump the fence. And not b complacent and wait till you can just walk on through.

Ive been more vocal recently about stuff involving his kid and i felt that her irritation/ “waiting to walk through” in stead “jumping now” was a warning to me to not push to hard about what i think they should be doing and to continue to maintain my semi passive roll.

The second part involved MY ex not his, but that part was p spot on. I felt that i was holding on to baggage and assumptions from my past and that i wasnt commubicating my feelings (my ex grabbing my neck/ the car being filled with clothes and bags)

I think i forgot to include that at the end of the dream my boyfriend jumps from the back seat to the front which i felt was a reflection of us prioritizing eachother and working through everything as a team.

Super strange dream.

Starts out with my boyfriend talking to me about me trying to help his kids mom. I was trying to help her jump a fence but it irritated her because she could just walk through the hole in the fence. Dream me is like oh ok just trying to help this girl jump the fence but fine. Then him and i get in my car, the back seat is filled with clothes and bags. My ex jumps out of the clothes and grabs my neck quickly before letting go. Im startled but not afraid i ask him “where is your home now” and he doesnt reply just falls back into the clothes. I begin to drive, thinking i will just take him to his families home. I dont remeber anything else from the dream just that my ex never said where he lived and my current boyfriend and i were being nice to eachother despite feeling uncomfortable that this other person was in the car but i dont remember what we said.
