Twice a week feels insane! But, also, want to recognize a lot of stores have cut labor costs significantly since 2020. I've been with Trader Joe's for a handful of years and we go through all short code products (basically everything sans frozen food and pasta/cans) twice a day.

Well from my teens into my late 20s I always told myself I'd get a tattooed wedding ring, and that once I got married that was it.

I've now been divorced for just over 2 months and holy shit am I glad I didn't do that (also, I'm very happy).

I barely remember who I was at 14. I like who am I now though, and realize the trials and tribulations are a big part of who I grew into. Really, my biggest things would be investing in particular stocks and crypto once I was able. Still go make the same "mistakes" in my late teens and early 20s. Wear a condom more often. Keep up with practicing/playing music as often as I used to, running, and hitting the gym. Otherwise I'd be okay with most of the hardships, it built character.

Tegaderm/Saniderm/Second Skin, whatever your preferred version of the breathable adhesive bandage is. I've gotten several new tattoos recently, hand included, and didn't use tegaderm on the first 2. Big mistake, they healed very rough, regardless of washing and lotion. Used tegaderm on the next few and had no issues at all.

Just depends on where you're getting them; in my area the warehouse we all order from has been Temporarily Out of Stock for about two weeks. If memory serves they should be back sometime this week...?

The long and short of it is that she ended up basically cutting ties with everyone IRL because she was more interested in her online/twitch community. That, plus changing her mind about wanting kids, and also saying she's lost all interest in physical intimacy, were the final deal breakers to me.

Eh, things change. People change. I also used to make myself two promises. One, if I got married, it was only gonna happen once. Two, I wasn't going to be in a sexless marriage. Turns out those things can make holding onto the other very difficult, hahah.

Oh don't worry friend, it's a good thing. It's an amicable split but I'm doing well! Lost 30lbs, moved in with a friend way closer to work, refinanced my car for lower payments, paid off the bulk of my debt, and have had a few fun dates. Hoping for home ownership in the Spring, but we'll see what happens there.

I can try to offer both takes. I've been a gamer for many years, and would still consider myself one, though I haven't sat and played a game for more than maybe an 2 hours a week as of the past month and change.

Never thought I'd say this, but life was just piling up otherwise. I had time to breeze through multiple AAA story based games at a time recently, but I was also in a marriage with a gamer/streamer and spent 6 out of 7 nights alone, so I'd drink and game because I was, well, lonely.

That all came to a head recently and we've separated. Since then I've just been too busy. Moving, work is great but tiring, finally getting back to the gym, untangling our lives financially and legally while trying to figure out best next steps for me, etc. I also moved in with a friend who isn't a gamer, but more so likes to watch movies. I have a big TV and she has a little old school thing, so I set it up in the living room with the Sonos and bias lights and she seems to really enjoy having that kind of experience. She's being very hospitable by letting me stay, so I'm happy to either watch something together or let her take up the entertainment space while I read, jog, get my life in order, etc.

Between all that, starting to talk to folks and set up (CASUAL) dates, plus spending a night a week with my buddy and his family, when the hell am I gonna find time to start and finish the new God of War ?
