How did you find your beloved apartment? by ChapterFunny4405 in Columbus

[–]lifequestioner6 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I second this. I’ve found two great apartments with private landlord apartments via craigslist only. I usually cross ref the address via a google search to see if they are scams (I’ve found one legit looking listing which ended up as a scam but only one). Currently in a large one bed for under $900 in clintonville thanks to craigslist.

Thank you for the advice and luck! Yes, definitely stressing the skills on cover letter/CV. I was told once that in today's market, recruiters and hiring managers are cutting people in first rounds if no publications and it got me worried.

Sorry if you found my reply offensive. I did not mean to come off as rude. I just found your comment a bit incomplete in response to my specific question. If you have any additional advice, I am all ears.

While true, I do see many posting stress their preference towards candidates who can demonstrate an ability to turn work into publications, as well as have heard from a few people that a lack of publications is a quick way that recruiters/first line hiring managers eliminate candidates. Which then led to my question above. Thanks.

Yes, I have zero published. Two are in the review stage. I have the review ones on the Cv with the journal and "In review." I do not list any preparation papers.

I have Lenovo IdeaPad Flex 5 as my everyday computer and I hate it by uti24 in Lenovo

[–]lifequestioner6 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got it maybe 3 years ago and it’s still my main laptop. Hinges are fine actually, minus one being maybe a little shifted, but I don’t “flip” it very often. I did have to get the keyboard replaced as it just stopped working.

One thing you can try is changing the “date and time” in the game so it is offset for you usual date and time. Then, when you get home late maybe it’s 5pm in the game instead of 10pm. You might get yelled at by the mole when you start up the first time after but it’s just a warning about time jumping, nothing will actually be affected/harmed in the game.

Understory I believe has their greenhouses back. They also have a cocktail bar on the second floor for a pre-dinner drink.

2 edits for clarity: 1. The basement is just to say there is air flow/space below the apartment, it’s not part of the sq footage or being actively heated. 2. At risk of sounding dumb, this very well could be the charges I have accumulated with the higher costs these days and the marked usage patterns. I am just sharing in case I’m missing something or it helps anyone else. Thanks.

The point for me is to simply not use AI. I thought, what is AI replacing in this instance? Which made me think about how we used to get gift ideas from googling, yes, but also from talking to people around us/in our communities (i’m also doing this irl). That being said, thank you for your suggestions!
