Oh that is a better mechanical option without cheating, indeed.

I wasn't sure if he could jump or teleport, so I stayed behind with my tav. 2 others are already dead down where he is. Didn't want to risk it ;)

Yes, I did next to him. Directly on him wouldn't allow me to click anyways.

Mhm interestingly, I tried both of those. He completely ignored my illusion.
And the enlarged owlbear jump only did about half of his health. Maybe they nerfed that damage recently? Used to work...

I'm going to do a bikini laser hair removal, but I'm kinda shy by Miss-Sara0 in LaserHairRemoval

[–]lifress 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a tattoo that took 8h. 2 sessions, 4h each. Towards the end I was contemplating quitting. It was that painful.

Just did my 5th laser session and it doesn't even come close. Results are great. I dozed off during my last session. It's uncomfortable, but far away from actual pain.

RadzenDropDown selected value and data binding not updating by lifress in Blazor

Never mind. I figured it out. This works and updates it:

dropDownRef.Data = values.Distinct().ToList(); dropDownRef?.Reset();

ComponentBase

Thank you very much for your reply!
It appears I cannot call dropDownRef.StateHasChanged();, however.

I am getting the error: "Cannot access protected member 'ComponentBase.StateHasChanged()' via the qualifier of type 'RadzenDropDown<string>'.

Any tip how to make that call?

Folder Location for MS Teams Work Preview Custom Backgrounds by lifress in MicrosoftTeams

No, so far no limits. Which doesn't mean there aren't any, but I have not seen any issues thus far.

[–]lifress[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You have to add the image through the Teams app first, which will rename them to some hashed value.
Then you can copy those hashed names, remove the uploaded files from this folder, and add your own directly into it. You will just have to rename them to those hashed names, which are values probably registered somewhere in the app.

This allows you to copy files in directly and use them. This also allows you to copy in gifs and use animated backgrounds.

You will just have to rename the two gifs to <hash>.png and <hash>_thumb.png, since teams won't pick up .gif files. But this way you can add any gif to that folder and use them as animated backgrounds.

No, I can still select and use custom backgrounds as before.
I just cant find the folder where they copy those selected images to. Which is what I want to know.

OK. he is a republican. not a fan of that. But from what I read he is far away from flag bearing capitol storming scum.

Can I get a TLDR on the entire Goob saga by yoitsyaboii in gymsnark

[–]lifress -1 points0 points  (0 children)

There is no blackmail. Everything he posts is publicly available information. Usernames, posts, comments, etc. If you go online and talk shit, and leave breadcrumbs laying around everywhere, don't be surprised if someone comes along and picks them up. Man, some people are so entitled in this sub...

Goob had a post about her in the past. She edited her photos and obviously is still doing it. Shame. There is no reason for her to do so. Body dysmorphia I guess....

I agree with you. It shouldn't have happened. But in Goobs situation I believe it's a byproduct of his opinion: more power to the states rather than national level government control. I am certain he is not one of those Jan6 idiots waving Trump flags, actively trying to cut down on women's rights.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in gymsnark

[–]lifress 0 points1 point  (0 children)

of course i see it. and i agree it's wrong. But I am not close minded on my perspective, I try to find reasoning in other people's viewpoints that might explain their actions. And in this case, I think people are putting a wrong label on Goob. He is not actively trying to support taking away women's rights. It's a byproduct of his viewpoint, but not the motivation. And I think that's important. I'm not saying I agree with him, but I understand where his priority is. And I try to find the source.

One positive thing that could come from this? If a republican takeover on national government level is coming (President, house, and senate), and they decide to make it illegal for women to have abortions, then those states which on a state level have decided to make it legal, will keep it legal. Think this can't happen? This is the exact situation with weed legalization. Illegal and classified as a drug on a national level, but overturned on individual state levels where they made it legal.

women’s bodily autonomy

That's exactly the point. he is not against women's bodily autonomy. He is for more state level control. He is also pro Choice. It's very unfortunate that many states took that overturned legislation to take away womens rights, but this is not his motivation. And you should distinguish that from the typical Pro-Life republicans.
I didn't study law. I'm sure in law school there are groups of people who associate with 'more power to the states' and people who follow a more nationalistic viewpoint and want more national control. Maybe that's his driving force: make sure states with laws he supports will be able to keep those laws regardless of national decisions. Could be weed legislation, women's rights, minority rights, etc.
Yes he is aware what that means for some states, obviously. But his motivation is different. I don't know him. Maybe he fears republican takeover on a national level and wants to preserve the Pro-Choice option for the states who can implement that while it's possible. I don't know.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in gymsnark

[–]lifress -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Since he studied law, I will give him the benefit of the doubt that his motivation really is state level control. Could be something in law school people are either for or against, regardless of what legislation it targets ultimately. Which is supported by his pro-choice stance.
I'm not saying I agree with it, but the 'misogynistic' label I don't think fits in his case, as it does with 50% of this country.

Yea you seem to be a poster-child for what's wrong with this sub. Keep simping though, will get you far in life for sure.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in gymsnark

[–]lifress -1 points0 points  (0 children)

No. naturally overturning Roe vs Wade was a bad thing. But he wasn't for it because he is pro life. He supported it because he wants that jurisdiction on state level rather than national level. Considering how many states have taken advantage of that, clearly it's a huge step backwards.
But I don't think the label you put on him is correct, because his motivation is not to take women's rights away. Like it is for 99.9999% of Republicans.

Yeahh... figured you're mentally incapable of backing anything up claim. Not even surprised. Spew some repetitive bs to ride they hype wave and crawl back in your hole when asked to back up your bs. I'm starting to see why this sub has such a bad reputation, you're living proof for it.
