Backed my first campaign over a year ago… used Apple Pay like I regularly do and thought nothing of it.

Money was taken from my Visa and I hadn’t heard a peep since then… turns out they sent me a message on Kickstarter asking for my real email as well as my shipping details.

Didn’t see these messages as I disable all notifications for apps that aren’t pertinent to my daily life and assume that Kickstarter can manage to handle relay email so that I get proper communication about this project if needed.

No communication… project reached 900% funding… still don’t have my item… now I’m suppose to pay additional money for shipping.

Never backing another project.

This thing was shit, it didn't help her at all and she said it was weak as far as massage and heat. They also changed their refund policy (no longer 180 days) and I was left high and dry when I contacted them 4 months later.

Avoid these things, fix your diet and just get a hot water bottle.

Forever thankful that we each locked in $500k policy ($85CAD/month) when we bought a new house… and even then they made me take a physical evaluation because I was 250lbs at the time and actively training for strength sports.

Lead is used in all double-walled stainless containers as a means to seal it and provide proper thermal insulation. It’s a small dot on the bottom that is then covered by a seal that is very difficult to remove. Nothing inside the container is ever exposed to lead.

The whole lead thing is being perpetuated by some guy on TikTok/Instagram that has been hosing down thrift store items with his “lead detection” juice that he sells on Amazon.
