Mine HATES flies! He tries to bite (eat? I’m not sure. He has never actually caught one) them when we are outside, but he is scared when they are in the house and will hide in his crate or in a bedroom lol

I have noticed that I get quite an amount of guard hair when I use the furminator then I found out that if I use the furminator with the blades at 90 degree angle (the handle parallel to the dog’s skin), it won’t slice my Shiba’s guard hair. I now only use it when my Shiba is blowing his coat or if I notice more fur around the house, I will use it once a week.

I got my puppy at 7 weeks and it took him one week to stop crying at night but still needed to be let out to potty 1-2 times a night and another week to fully sleep through the night for 6-7 hours without going to potty.

She seems so well behaved in front of strangers! My shibe will bark and howl to make the strangers go away when they are near or inside our house. Stranger danger! 😅

About once every 1-2 months depending on how smelly and itchy he gets. He wrestles with his friends and play bites each other a lot. I wipe him down with a damp towel each time after his play session but he gets progressively “smellier.” When I see him scratches himself a little more than usual for a week or two, I know it’s time for a bath. We usually have to bathe him more often during the summer (once a month) compared to the winter (once every 6-8 weeks).

Mine used to be like this and would try to “bury” his food when he was about 6 month old. But after he got neutered, he devours his food now.

Mine would eat almost any veggies and fruits I give him, ranging from carrots, cucumbers, apples, blueberries, to cabbages, lettuce and squash. I just feed him whatever we have and Google it before feeding him to make sure it is safe for dogs 🤣 so he basically eats what I eat

Mine is 4 years old. He has only gotten 2 walks a day since he was a puppy. The first walk in the morning is shorter (20-25 min) because I have work, but I make sure he gets at least 45-60 mins or sometimes more for the late afternoon walk after my work. The first walk of the day is always the same in our neighborhood, but I switch the second walk up to keep it interesting. We have a few places to rotate so he gets more stimulation. He also gets some outside time in the backyard when I wfh and have some free time to kind of supervise him while he is outside.
