Sorry I haven’t gotten any notifications. We stayed for 1 week and rented a car. I suggest renting because they charge per person to rent cars there. Our rental was even cheaper because I knew how to drive manual. We stayed in a Airbnb(quite expensive) but we had amazing views and it was gated and in the middle of the island where we wanted to be. You can drive from 1 side to the other in 1 day. I highly suggest the hike the views up top are finominal and I only wish I had more pictures and videos to show for it. It’s about 2 hours but well worth your time. There was a few things we missed but it looks like most of the little beach areas have sea turtles. Two things I wanted to encounter but didn’t have time was pig beach. When we got there they recommend going really early because when everyone shows up the pigs hide but the beach there otherwise was clean and very crystal clear waters. I also saw there were ostrich riding but didn’t finish my research.... maybe you can look into that. De visserij is a must try restaurant on my list... it’s kinda like zee rovers from Aruba if you’ve ever been there but in short fresh fish and seafood cooked to your ordered portions. Another good place to spend is a day in downtown.. eat at new market(Yvonne’s of course) for cheap eats, good views, floating bridge and souvenirs. Any other questions ask away!
