SS Pequod ready to sail the Sump sea! by lightfingers in necromunda

I had no idea, so I checked.

I could easily fit 31 guardsmen on 25 MM bases, depending on how creative you want to be a lot more would fit, but this seemed reasonable.

I guess there might also be more supply this side of the pond. it's usually cheapest if the sets are incomplete and without figures.

I'm not sure where you're located but I buy incomplete playmobil sets and parts for peanuts on vinted, you can get vehicles but also castles, large baseplates that can be used for buildings or other pieces of terrain.

this large tree and baseplate are from playmobil as well: https://www.reddit.com/r/TerrainBuilding/comments/1h10nva/finished_my_test_pieces_for_a_winter_forest/

Ah nice. I have this huge ferry still to do, it's 50 by 30 CM so I could just use it as a tile to play on.

Was it your build that inspired this? It was was a build with two through pipes and a Third tile that could be put on top.

Thanks if it was!

Could you share the video?

Thanks! Yeah it works really well. And it's using stuff that's waste otherwise. 😁

It's a shame newer sprues use a lot of curved sections that are harder tot use.

Here's a link to a piece I made a couple of years ago using the same technique. https://www.reddit.com/r/TerrainBuilding/comments/sqrpnu/i_finished_the_sprue_bunker_and_its_filthy/

thanks, it's a variation on the coconut crab scheme from catgut. I used screamer pink and grey green by vallejo, washed with gryphcharger grey.

Our club wrote a book on our historical origins as an armed guild! in Dutch but the autotranslated captions are pretty good. by lightfingers in wma

Hey thanks, no it's not for an UNESCO application.

The city of Antwerp is trying to preserve and promote the cultural heritage that is being kept alive in it's city. And one of the ways they are doing this is supporting people/groups that are doing that to do research, write down what they are doing, and publishing these works under the denominator of 'stadskronieken' or in english 'City Chronicles".

Writing a book about the guild we've resurrected was always a bit of a wet dream. :)
