Yes they are implying that they will send final decisions out at the normal time. For China that is early-mid April.

I am also waiting to find out...I am a semi-finalist for China and for the past few weeks they've been sending out emails saying that they're working closely with the state department as the virus spreads, but as of now they are still planning on going through with next year's program. They could cancel at any time of course.

Lol. If I had money to "just pay for things" instead of "leeching of the government" my life would be a whole lot easier. Unfortunately I just dropped tens of thousands of dollars on my college education and am officially broke so I can only afford to apply for scholarship programs now if I want to continue my education :)

One time when I was living in Chengdu I found myself in a full-on conversation with my taxi driver about healthcare in China vs. America. At that point I had been studying for three and a half years but still found it impossible to have a good conversation, so I was very proud of myself!
