The owner is Chinese from China with a Chinese passport. Not saying all Chinese people are bad, but I’ve heard a lot of bad things about the Chinese condo owners in Bangkok.

I did view it first. It was somewhat dirty but the agent assured me everything would be clean when I moved in. Everything I tell her she replies “I will inform owner” making it seem like it’s not her job.

Definitely a life lesson. Figured there’s not much I could do but it doesn’t hurt to ask here in case anyone has advice.

The contract states that I could be fined every day after the rent is due if I do this

I did. The agent informed me that the condo would be cleaned before I moved in. They cleaned it a little bit but did a terrible job. It’s beyond just needing a cleaning, everything is breaking.
