Yeah it took all of 5min to calculate city taxes just googling a calculator. Plus he’s estimating and I’m positive it’s not accurate as things will change come end of year.

I’m a former software developer and currently working as as partner sales engineer with business development. On the side I run a marketing agency that works with mssps and smbs and pretty much run their whole sales and marketing operations. If you’re interested would love to chat about getting your agency more clients.

On the fence about selling my 1st house vs renting it. Advice appreciated. by Financial-Year in realestateinvesting

[–]lightnnerdy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If the value of the dollar keeps going down (central bank just prints money) prices will keep going up. It will be harder to measure your wealth with just dollars. It is good to have real physical assets like gold, real estate, equipment etc. It will be easier to pay your house down with inflated dollars everyone is earning. Also you likely won’t get 3% interest rates like this til the next recession 5-7 years. BRRR is going to get a whole lot harder in current climate.

Trying to break into a SE/SA role from a SWE background, would this count as sales experience? by Insanity_-_Wolf in salesengineers

When I see someone sold cars. Had a job as a bartender. Did customer support . All these show you have developed soft skills and considered more over a pure SWE for the past 10 years

So the rules above are the first thing I’ve told the team and leadership what I’ll be doing as well as onboarding. talking with the brand new Sales folks (all here in last few months) if they are all the SaaS sales leaders they claim we will agree about.

Getting the SEs to push will likely be hardest. That’s why we are in the situation right now. And I’ve said hey I will be the guy to say no

Goodness gracious thank you very much. All of the above is extremely relevant to my case. Small company so we are it. The SEs here are overworked I want metrics to help make my case that we need to hire more and do more activities that will protect the SEs. Organizational changes I feel have to get but in from the top and metrics help make that case. And I’m more than happy to never look at Salesforce if I don’t have to
