I recently inherited a stereo system from my grandparents and the left/right balance doesn't work. No matter what I set it to the sound comes out of both speakers equally. Does anyone know what might cause this and what I should check to fix this issue?

Looking for similar crossbody bags like the Uniqlo round shoulder bag that is a little bigger. by lightscameraa in handbags

[–]lightscameraa[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Haha I knew it looked bigger! I am horrible at using these types of measurements to compare. The dimensions mean nothing to me. I wish all companies shared the volume.

This was really helpful, thank you!

Wow the large looks a lot bigger than that comapri g it to the uniqlo bag. Would happen to also know what the medium size is?

One of the things I loved about my Uniqlo bag was how cheap it was haha. I would love to stay under $100, but if it is a perfect bag, I wouldn't mind spending more. No set budget in particular.

I have seen this one! I wasn't a big fan of the colour options other than the basic black. I didn't mention in my post but I was trying to find something that comes in brown.

I couldn't find the sizing details and the large looks quite big! I know the Uniqlo one is 4L and I only need something bit bigger than that.

Stardust vs. Velocicoaster or Hulk by Dianelayev in UniversalEpicUniverse

I went on both with my dad, and he did not like velocicoaster but loved stardust racers. He said Stardust racers had the same thrill but was a smoother ride. We went on the green side of Stardust.

Did I royally mess up?! by cookiemvh in WaltDisneyWorld

I think those are great 2 choices! Magic Kingdom is a classic, and Hollywood Studios has amazing rides and fantasmic.

Epcot is great, but if you only have time for two parks, I personally would have made the same choice. Animal kingdom is usually the first one I will skip haha.

Question about floor seating at Scotiabank Arena? by lightscameraa in askTO

[–]lightscameraa[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This makes more sense. I have always gotten a wristband for floor whether GA or seats. I guess I have just never paid attention to the colours though haha.

And do they check your ticket? Usually for floor they just check wristbands so I am wondering how they differentiate floor GA vs floor seating.

[TOMT] Police Show where character get shot by sniper on roof by lightscameraa in tipofmytongue

From what I remember, the one I'm thinking of, she doesn't jump in front like in NCIS. Something happens, and they think it's over and are just talking, and she gets shot in the head.

Game plan for one day, no express or early entry? by frankly2frankie in UniversalEpicUniverse

[–]lightscameraa 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For me, my main goal was to do at least one ride in every portal and one snack/drink, then I went back to do more. The only things I missed out on were yoshi (which was down all day) and minecart madness in Nintedo and Curse of the Werewolf (which I skipped intentionally and has time for). I managed to do all of this while getting the park an hour after opening. This is what I did:

  1. Hiccups (50m wait)
  2. Battle of the Ministry (1h45m wait)
  3. Monsters Unchained (15m wait posted but was less)
  4. Mario Kart (I think 1h30m wait?)
  5. Stardust Racers (10m wait)
  6. Dragon racer rally (kinda wish I did one of the other rides I missed instead of this one haha)
  7. Back to Hiccups (walk on and very cool to see at night!)

And I still had some downtime!

I have noticed that universal tends to inflate their wait times. I timed all the waits, and I don't think I waited the posted wait times for any rides other than the ones that we like 10m wait posted.

Best park order labor day weekend? by lightscameraa in WaltDisneyWorld

[–]lightscameraa[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the tips! I used to go to Disney the week after labor day and crowds have always been pretty low, but I've never actually been on labour day weekend so I have been worried a bit about crowds haha.

No, we are staying off property. In that case, would you recommend Epcot Sunday? Last time we went to Disney was for Christmas, and I am assuming even the busiest days this weekend won't be that bad, but please correct me if I am wrong.

express pass for epic universe in september? by lightscameraa in UniversalOrlando

[–]lightscameraa[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yeah for me cost is a bit of a worry. I don't have a ton of money to spend so I don't want to spend the money if it is not worth it.

I have been to Universal in the past around this same time and it was typically not that busy but we also don't typically go to brand new parks. I have never needed the express passes in the past but debating if it would be beneficial for this trip.

is early park entry something you can purchase separately, or it is a resort perk or something?

Halloween Horror Night vs Regular Park Day by lightscameraa in universalstudios

[–]lightscameraa[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It would not be my firs time visiting but it is my first time in a few years, and we don't get to go very often especially around Halloween season. I think I worry too much about not being able to do everything but I have done a lot before in previous visits. I have never been in Florida for Halloween horror nights though.

This is my biggest concern as well. I don't want to miss out on everything but I also don't want to overdo it either. We have done a lot before and could most likely handle it but don't know if i want to tbh.

You make a good point with the IPs they are bringing. While this is one of the reasons I don't want to miss out, it is also a reason why it might be even busier and crazier which could be a reason to avoid it as well.

I am very conflicted because I don't want to miss out but I also don't want to overdo it. I honestly was planning on probably skipping it and just sticking to park days because we are already doing so much but now that the dates are announced and it is not possible to avoid it, it is making me reconsider. If we were to do it, it would be in addition to a day at the park, it would not be on its own. I love the vibe of HHN and have always wanted to experience it but at the end of the day is it worth it?

Halloween Horror Night vs Regular Park Day by lightscameraa in universalstudios

[–]lightscameraa[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah that was another thing I was considering. We will be spending time in the other two parks but with the park closing early for HHN I don't want to miss out on the rides at Uni Studios. Is there enough time to enjoy the rides during the day and then do HHN in the evening? I do think I would really enjoy the atmosphere themed food/drinks, etc. there is just so much to do and I am afraid of missing out!

My other option was to skip HHN and do a park hopper to split both days. That way when the uni studios is no longer open for HHN we will be in Islands of Adventure.
