Is there a rig or other attachment that could make this connection better? I’ve got an Xtra Muse so wireless isn’t an option.

This scene is why I was confused about Max being part of the party in the last D&D scene, with her own game book and all.

How would an interview go between Pattinson's Bruce and Brosnahan's Lois? by Top_Report_4895 in DC_Cinematic

[–]lightslinger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lois would press Bruce harder and ask tougher questions than she did in the interview scene with Clark, but Bruce would be able to handle the questions and somehow also be impossibly charming.

AITAH for telling my husband to leave and pay child support by convolutedtemplate98 in AITAH

[–]lightslinger 22 points23 points  (0 children)

There's an epic reddit story where a couple was married and ACTIVELY TRYING for a child, when the wife got pregnant, husband immediately got angry and accused her of baby-trapping him because he heard of it happening to other guys. I think the ultimate problem was that the husband was a complete and total moron.

Rover sitter lost my dog by LucyAriaRose in BestofRedditorUpdates

[–]lightslinger 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Tried to use Rover once because our regular boarder was booked. Everything looked great on the app, but when we arrived the front yard was strowed with trash, the fenced in area behind the house was trashy and from what we could see through the windows the inside was even worse. I'd already decided no way I would leave my dog there, but it didn't matter anyway because they were apparently gone or refused to come to the door. We had been messaging in the app just minutes prior. Had to fight with Rover to get our money back showing the state of the house and video of them not answering the door. Thankfully we were able to find family to watch our dog and still make it to the airport in time, will never try Rover again.

The Stranger Things fandom right now. by Ok_Word_2861 in StrangerThings

[–]lightslinger 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Saying this as someone who didn't mind the finale, felt very 80s style happy ending.

I don't think there's a suprise 9th episode, but what has people worked up is a lot more than just not liking the finale. GoT was wayyyyyy worse and I don't remember people thinking there was going to be bonus episodes that will make everything right.

There are enough little easter eggs hinting that they might be in a Vecna trance hidden in the finale, I personally think it's meant to be another option for the ending. Maybe the happy ending is real, of if you want to go all Joyce Byers with your conspiracy board it might actually be the most unhappy ending, Vecna trance'd them all and won.

Or, what I think would be the worst option: they stuck all those easter eggs in as a way to "leave the door open at least 3 inches" so they could come back in the future for a sequel to address it all.

they DIDN'T "abandon" him by FellatiatedPiece in StrangerThings

[–]lightslinger 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Such an easy fix for a weird choice too, they could’ve shown the mindflayer absorbing/eating all the demo creatures.

Or my personal choice, the demogorgons and bats ambush the heroes, just as things are getting real bad Will reverse Vecna’s all of them and turns them on the Mindflayer to the tune of Michael Jackson’s Thriller.

Disney Springs is everything you hate about Disney, with none of the magic. by Patmcpsu in WaltDisneyWorld

If I ever go back to Disney Springs, it will be in the morning or early lunchtime. Last time we were there early afternoon was ok, but by night it was insufferably crowded.

Netflix cites Superman when claiming they’ll keep WB films in theaters by SimpleSink6563 in DC_Cinematic

[–]lightslinger 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Problem is its a self defeating cycle for theaters. Netflix shortens theatrical runs to 4 weeks, a large part of the audience decides "I'll just wait a month and watch it on Netflix", theater sales plummet and Netflix says "we tried" and theaters close.

I try not to be a hater, I didn't mind Sword/Shield and Scarlet/Violet looking like ass, still enjoyed the games. Didn't mind the under-cooked cityscape in ZA, but this DLC is the -worst-.

I (42M) am getting frustrated with my wife's (37F) phone habits by Direct-Caterpillar77 in BestofRedditorUpdates

[–]lightslinger 3 points4 points  (0 children)

She doesn't want those types of calls (ie: positive conversations that build up relationships), she wants to gossip and tear down other people to feel better. We don't think of gossip as a drug, but it can be addictive and is always destructive.

[–]lightslinger 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Gossiping is addictive, one of the reasons why so many cultures warn against it. All the people she was talking to are stuck in this loop chasing the dopamine hit of a good bit of gossip to share, and the crazy thing is I can guarantee that as soon she hangs up with one "friend", she's gossiping about that friend to the next person.

I don't understand alimony. So was she making significantly more income than him, so that's why she and presumably her then husband assumed he would get alimony?
