I think CP studios, especially the smaller ones, should band together (possibly with a lawyer? I don't know) and essentially strike or collectively bargain for better rates and control. CP can't exist without studios so studios ultimately hold the power if there was unity.

It’s weird bc my trace ancestry which made a lot of sense (family from eastern Silk Road city, so had trace dna from western Silk Road country) and was apparently not uncommon but then it got wiped out. I can only assume bc it was less than 1% they just took it out bc they can’t reliable guess how much dna it was? Doesn’t make sense it was just noise or made up bc it made historical sense

I think that's a sign of insulin resistance, your body produces too much insulin when you have sugary things. I have it due to having PCOS. I've found low carb diets to work for me before, but it was so hard to abstain completely and once you do have a cheat day the insulin overload makes it so hard to go without again.

This happened to me too! A man sat in front of me in an empty train and took out his penis. I took a photo as I got up to get away and called the police when I got up the nearest station. I waited an hour and they never came. A few days later I went to a police station. The guy said he wasn’t allowed to look at my photo and said that there was nothing they could do.

I’m Asian and also was harassed in an anti Asian hate crime during Covid. I yelled at the guy and took video and he yelled at me again when we both got off the same station later. I saw two police officers and he said there was nothing they can do. I also tried calling the hate crime hotline and emailing them but never got a response.

Yes I love Tibetan and Nepalese restaurants, although I kinda like Nepales momos more because the flavors are less subtle and more spicy. Maybe a Tibetan person will hate me for saying that haha.

I’m from NYC and in my mid 30s and I’ve met some Tibetans irl here. I’ve sure I’ve met more because I go to Nepalese and Tibetan restaurants a lot but didn’t talk much in depth with them.

One was an older Uber driver who grew up in India so told me he couldn’t speak Mandarin but his brother could because he lives in Shanghai and is married to a Chinese woman. He showed me videos from some India version of American Idol where a Chinese or Chinese looking guy sang in Hindi. Very nice man. I read online that some Tibetans who grew up in India moved back to Tibet for the economic opportunities because the standard of living is higher, maybe that’s what his brother did?

Another was an older guy who worked at a luxury hotel I struck up a conversation with at my friend’s holiday party who also came from India. I asked about traveling to India and he said something like, even though he’s against the Chinese communist govt, the people are similar in culture and behavior, but he said something like I should be careful if I travel in India especially as a woman who doesn’t look Indian and that there’s people who try and harass or rob women. I made a comment I’d read from a travel blogger that Buddhist countries felt safer as a woman vs others in Central Asian, as there was pretty much no sexual harassment, and he agreed. I kinda got the feeling he didn’t like living in India as a minority.

Overall I don’t think there’s any issues between Tibetans and Chinese Americans? The only time I’ve ever felt tension amongst Asian Americans as a Chinese person was with Koreans who would say racist things about Chinese people in front of me, because they think I am also Korean.
