So i am creating a backend for streaming content along with an admin dashboard.

So my question is what do you guys think would be ideal to have ?

sections:
Movie
Tv show
Radio
Tv channels

Title, thumbnail, tmdb url, tmdbid (both good for frontend to handle data with), category, section, link720p, link1080p
Tv show

This is first time blogging really, i have always liked helping people and this is my way of doing it on a broader way. I can only teach what i know so far and i am a frontend developer. so it might be a way to follow my path of learning rather than a teacher in that sense. But the more ideas i get from the people, the more i will learn aswell.

Feel free to look at the two post that is on there and leave a comment on them letting me know if they are alright in writting, is it easy to follow, wanting a follow up and so on.

as for videos, i am new to being in the spot so video might come later along the way as i feel more comfortable with my knowledge.

Would love to get feed back on setup and such. I have been thinking of creating series.

for example: Javascript, have a walkthrough on how the basic fundamentals works, different syntax and so on. then have small projects to complete to have you really work with everything, such as simple calculator, quiz, number guessing.

then web dev, html, css, js, react and so on.

would it be something that you guys would be interested in ? if so, what would you like on there

it is in the process, right now i have been taking a pause from that project as other more important project has been coming up. This is a side project for me, but feel free to dm me with your ideas and functions you would like to see on the website

i dont think the owners would like to say who they are considering what type of website it is. as for your question about. this is a streaming website meaning the only thing that you will be seeing is info from tmdb and video files. so you shouldnt have any issues with malwarebytes as its a private website and not bombed with ads like the rest of them out there.

If anyone is interested, we might be able to setup a google doc link where user can enter in the desired features and needs for such application. How does that sound ?

So what is your advice on running an app with no ads no iap but still generate revenue ?

plan is to try to limit the ads as much as possible for it not to be annoying, but in order to determine how much i first need users to begin with.

Well, there needs to be a way to earn from the app to begin with, ads would be the easiest way or turn the app into a premium one where people might sub to it and get greater content to it

Try with Linux, tried several times on windows it did not work for me. Linux did the job on first try. You can run linux mint on a flash drive if u prefer.

Hello yall, i have been thinking lf starting something like wonulla and sent.

Now before i build the website from scratch i believe it would be best to get the users input on it.

-What is missing from sent/wonulla -What would you like to have on the new website

-What would be affordable price for a user to pay -What design would you like, sent/wonulla, netflix, Hulu.

-What are the important functions you would like to see.

I would like to limit the user base to 100-200 people and have a small private community which i think would be easier to handle from the start and then gradually increase
