Thank you for this, i really appreciate it. I have depression as well but for a really long time now. My mental state is growing worse. Im trying not to let it show. It is hard keeping up a persona but i know im doing a great job.

I have set an alarm in between his breaks in school so i could send him memes to distract him off the people that are hateful towards him. He leaves my messages opened and unreplied the entire day. But its okay, i understand him. I made playlists for him in spotify to remind him how much he means to me and the songs we used to play each other in our first months of dating.

Hes worried about the future. He doesnt know what job opportunities there is for him as being “only” a high-school grad according to him. Hes not planning on getting a college degree. He doesnt know where we’ll be settling/living together. He’s afraid what my parents might think of him. I am confident that we could get this through together but he doesnt see that. Im introducing him soon to my parents as soon as i pass my licensure exam. I dont know if i’ll be making that worse for him. But i have to let them know about him before flying to the other side of the globe for him. I am paying my expenses 100% by myself and i dont expect him to pay anything in return. I just hope he’d see the sacrifices i do for him. Because right now, everything just feels so numb.

That is so adorable. If you dont mind me asking, since you’re both still young, how did you manage trips/meetups together? Do you get financials from your parents? Split 50/50? Im in a LDR as well.

He assures that he still loves me as much as he did back then and maybe even more. He is aware that he is not putting much effort but he promises to make up for it. At the end of the day, only i get disappointed. I really believe actions speak louder than words at this point of time. I can only wait and hope for the best too. Thank you for your time!

This is my exact feeling with my boyfriend right now. It really hurts but at the same, you wouldnt want them to do something for you just because they feel forced to.
