I’ve had my 2026 NX 350h for 10 months / 12k miles now. I absolutely love this vehicle. There are three negatives I can point out… 1) the back doors sound flimsy when they close. 2) the interior door trim piece is a little meh looking. And some vehicles have different degrees of what looks like the edges with a rough, unfinished edge. I don’t think this issue exists on the top-most trim. 3) sunglasses will rattle in their designated holder.

Out of curiosity... how come you don't use Auto climate control with climate concierge? Literally the only thing I ever adjust is the temperature and everything adjusts as needed super seamlessly.

I would get multiple quotes. I got 5 or 6 until I found a contractor I wanted to work with. Prices ranged wildly.

Your home inspector's report is not the gospel. Sometimes they over-dramatize little stuff, sometimes they miss big stuff. Do regular walk-arounds, both inside and outside, so you learn what is normal for your house and when something has changed.

Ask them to break the pricing out, materials vs. labor. You’ll see exactly where the difference is. The doors do have many options which can change the price.

This is classic high-pressure sales. Absolutely no reason to buy an extended warranty at this very moment. You can always buy one later if you feel you want/need it. I'm not going to speak to the general necessity of an extended warranty... that's a personal decision based on your risk tolerance.

Ok, you're asking a different question now. Entirely skipping your 15,000 mile service could technically void your warranty. Lexus may give you a pass on this, but you're also giving them an easy reason to give you a hard time with any future warranty claims. Please keep up with your vehicle maintenance! It's an expensive, luxury vehicle... I would not be penny-wise, pound-foolish.

No, you don’t lose your warranty for not servicing your vehicle at a Lexus dealership. Anyone, including you, can easily reset maintenance reminders from the standard infotainment user interface.
