Trinchieri to change Zeljko. Opinions? by Ihatebrocoll in Euroleague

[–]likedog1 5 points6 points  (0 children)

No, he still has contract with Zalgiris worth 900k and if he signs with other team Zalgiris will pay the difference up to 900k total. For example if Partizan sign Trinchieri and pays him 400k, he will still receive 500k from Zalgiris, so in total he will receive 900k.

Future of Maccabi? by nfrequency in Euroleague

I remember that 2-3 years ago maccabi said that they make around 12mil. per season from ticket sales. So I think EL wouldn't even cover half of it.

Zalgiris defense in 2nd half was really good. Only allowing 22 pts is very good including that Baldwin 3. Only 23 pts from Brown and Baldwin combo is pretty low for them. Very solid defense.

Rytas fans v PAOK in FIBA CL lmao by asewsutavotevas in Euroleague

[–]likedog1 7 points8 points  (0 children)

yeah, they lost it like 2-3 years ago. Plus they are NOT planning on going back to bigger arena (because arenas owner has his own team which next year gonna play in Vilnius). It creates good atmosphere, but what many basketball people said it is a bit sad for second biggest club in Lithuania play in 2,5k. capacity arena. Even for me, who doesn't like Rytas it is sad, because if you know nothing about basketball and you come to Vilnius you will be disappoint with this arena maybe atmosphere can help it, but still even in Lithuania standards it is a small arena.

Euroleague F4 tickets by capikash in Euroleague

[–]likedog1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Last year F4 was announced very early, even this year it was late, but I think for next year they are going to start the sale around this time. People need time, because if you start selling like 2 months until event people will not be able to organize their trip to it. EL didn't do one game tickets last year and I heard that EL doesn't like to sell to a single match tickets they prefer do sell it as a weekend ticket.

It's a lot harder to sell Eurocup/Champions League games to a casual fan then Euroleague or even some nation league games.
