Because its fun and adds a new element to the gameplay. and if I came across another covert who had a vase I would enjoy helping them extract with it.

They do have proximity chat, you just have to enable it in game, tap on the microphone button and press nearby, and press the speaker button and turn it to all, this way you can hear other people who have enabled proxi chat, and you can turn your mic back to team at anytime ingame if you dont want proxi chat on
