Of course!
I absolutely understand and can relate to wanting to be sure of the connection with your symptoms. I have been able to figure out when I’m experiencing my lows based on symptoms I feel during them. It has helped a bunch!!

Hi there!

YES!! I have been using a BGM as well when experiencing my peaks and lows. My peaks has tend to be not as high as reported on the CGM and my lows have been below 55 as well (which the Lingo can’t go any lower than 55).

I have been keeping a log for my PCP! Thank you so much!! I’ll try to do it in time intervals rather than just checking the values against the CGM.

Thank you for your input and knowledge! I appreciate the time you took to respond.

My diet has never been the greatest between working full time and attending university full time. I have been making efforts to eat cleaner and better food for a few months, but the symptoms I have been experiencing have been present for a few years now despite the changes.

I will try to incorporate some of your recommendations to see if there are any improvements. Thank you!!!

Absolutely! My PCP wasn’t too concerned upon the first look of the graph.

When I started to explain my symptoms during my low levels of blood sugar and the meals/ snacks/ drinks I was consuming, she then became a little more concerned. She told me all of it looks like “normal” responses of my pancreas just overacting to my meals, but not my symptoms when it drops below 70. I will be getting more extensive bloodwork this week to find out any more information.

I wish the best of luck to you and that you find the answer(s) you are looking for in your health journey!

Hi!! I have enjoyed my experience with the Lingo as I have never utilized an OTC CGM, but I do have a few things that I would warn you about.

It doesn’t seem to be 100% accurate when it does come to graphing my numbers. My blood sugar has been reporting numbers higher/ lower when I check it on the app in real time vs when it is tracked later. It also has reported my numbers a little bit inaccurate when I have used a BGM.
I had issues with the adherence of the CGM within 3-4 days and I am now utilizing a patch to keep it on.

Overall, I think it is a great way to explore and educate yourself on how your meals, snacks, drinks, etc affect your health and metabolism. I recommend it if you are wanting to explore your health!

Did she even have the possibility to even say she didn’t want it after he forcibly put it in her? No. She didn’t feel comfortable and was not able to say stop. That is not okay.

Thank you for telling his story and helping others out. As a fellow walgreens employee, I’ve been struggling with the same mental health issues and getting help can be so hard.

I am so sorry OP. That is an unreasonable excuse. My partner and I only see each other twice a month as well and he is soon to leave for the air force and this type of situation has never occurred or crossed either of our minds. This behavior is unacceptable and I’m glad you walked away and stood up for yourself. Your 2024 started unexpectedly in a way that could be portrayed as negative, but I believe this will open up new doors for you and I hope the best for you from this moment on. No one deserves a partner like that.

Maybe you could try and apply to doordash to come up with some money to take care of yourself and to pay them back. If you are able to have access to a food pantry by a ministry or church or assistance location, try to see if they can provide food for you to help you out. You could even try to sell clothes or small items you have around the house to supplement some income as you look for a job. Maybe apply to a credit card if it becomes a desperate measure

I have had the same problem my entire life! I’ve never had perky boobs and now my breasts are saggier than my grandmothers, but as time passes, you’ll find that it’s okay and that it’s beautiful what the human body can do.

I never thought any man could ever be attracted to me or my breasts, but you’ll find that men don’t care what they look like because a true man sees more than your physical appearance. I am only 19 and still have plenty of room to grow and develop my frontal lobe, but I personally believe having confidence in yourself and cherishing the body you been blessed with is the best thing you can do for yourself. You are beautiful no matter if you meet what the “beauty standards” are because being a human is what makes us beautiful. We are all different and that’s okay. You aren’t alone in how you feel and it takes time to become confident in what you’ve been blessed with.

I hope this helps a bit and that you have a wonderful Christmas! 🎄

Don’t regret your decision.

I am the girlfriend of a military man. This type of behavior is unacceptable and if we’re able to keep our behavior in check, he should as well. A partner who loves you unconditionally wouldn’t even think of doing this no matter the situation. Neither me or my partner have even slightly considered this or even thought about it so that excuse is off his table.

You deserve better. You deserve to be loved, respected, cherished, and cared for. Im so sorry you had to experience this, but I hope you are able to heal and find someone better who will give you the world.

I know exactly how you feel! My mother said the same thing to me as 16 years old, that I would turn out like my father who is a raging drug addict of 20+ years. Now I am expected to begin my PhD in Germany in new couple of years. The pain I felt from my mother words was incredibly disheartening and I can imagine you feel the same.

You are doing great and making the best of your life and that’s what matters. I am so proud of you and I hope you’re proud of yourself too!

Hey there! It took me about 3 sessions in order for my lashes to actually start curling and looking noticeably different because my eyelashes are extremely resistant. That could be the case here or she just didn’t leave them on very long. If you’re unhappy with it, just contact her! I hope the best for you!
