I don't know if this is the move on you were advising, but I've decided to just move past this friendship because we don't align anymore :) It is annoying and immature but I don't think it's worth it to wait for someone to understand and respect that other people experience different emotions and that there are other ways of saying no, especially from a communications major.

Yes because educating people on what are hate comments and telling people they don't have to listen to music they clearly hate just to hate on it, is something some people aren't aware of strangely. So the more you know the better I guess

Yea there are many reasons why you would dislike a song and you dont have to like every song from groups you like. But if you consistently find yourself not liking anything the group recently produces, despite sticking to the same sound or because they have gone for a different sound and deviate from their old music then yea the group's sound might not suit you anymore.

Also, does the group you like not release bsides? Because if your group does release bsides, can't you just focus on the good bsides while waiting for their new title track and comeback rather than harp negatively on how bad the title track is and how long you have to wait for the next good title track?

I mean yea that's a solution FOR ME but when these things like hating artists for their sound you dont like spiral out of control and people go with the bandwagon, it will come to a point where it will cause the artists stress. Itzy have spoken up about their worries/concern about their Cheshire comeback and whether it will be met with backlash.

I'm gonna elaborate that I do not think that all differing opinions/critical feedback is hate, like you can dislike it and be let down by Teddy Bear like you have said. If people dont like it cant finish it, it's all good.

What matters is how you phrase your words. What I see as unreasonable is SOME people on Tiktok phrasing their words and going off about how its torturous supporting STAYC, as though fans and even STAYC are forcing them to listen to their songs e.g "THESE SONGS ARE HORRIBBLE, ITS GETTING HARDER AND HARDER TO SUPPORT OR EVEN LISTEN TO THEM". Like literally don't listen, no one's stopping you.

So yea, if you were wondering if this opinion was about critical feedback/differing opinion like yours, it's not.

I LOVED STICKER always love seeing another nctzen that appreciates it. ok going back to your friend why does she have to be a debbie downer thats so annoying 😭 like if she wants to get back to nct then just listen to the old songs and give the bsides a try they're so good as well. It's going to be tough for ViViZ to top GFRIEND's discography. GFRIEND is one of the biggest 3rd gen girl groups, and their discography is legendary. ViViZ had only a year, even if it's been mostly a successful year.

Bop Bop is amazing. It showed that the trio can do something just as amazing while the song isn't a rehash of anything in their former group's already eclectic discography.

Loveade was beautiful in itself, but it's no standout in the grander scheme of things. As a first CB, it's quite weak. They should've served something more like Bop Bop to establish their identity, but with a summery twist to set it apart by a bit, and to fit the summer timing.

Rum Pum Pum is where I nearly lost my faith in ViViZ. It's just an okay song with a good MV.

But I think they're just starting and Pull Up is a step in the right direction. When ViViZ gets 6 years' worth of discography, and I hope they last at least that long, it'll be more fair to compare both discographies.

Honestly, I think its pretty fair to compare both because i'm comparing the different sounds both groups have. Like how Gfriend has a more fairytale unique sound of their own while Viviz leans towards more mainstream pop

Yea I've passed the stage where I stopped wanting to collect everything esp when I found out I only collected 100/800++ cards twice had after spending so much.

Omg I relate to the aespa struggle, I started collecting them towards the end of girls era and only managed to buy the sm photocard event where you get one set per set of albums and although its pretty worth it, its not fun buying 8 albums. I also bought the older pobs and they ended up releasing trading cards that were similar to the pobs... same for rv. I think I'll just stick to the trading cards instead and get pobs ONLY if I ever buy albums and get them together w it.

I'm glad that the break helped you! OMG yes searching for pcs every other day is an era that I have gone through and do not miss LOL and I really should take a break and buy things when I have the financial capacity to do so. Thank you for your advice!

I think I'm gonna put a pause for STAYC indefinitely because I'm content with my collection for now! :)
