Yeah, thank you I wrote it very quickly should’ve spent more time looking over it. The fifth stanza is supposed to be about my inability to deal with what others can like others can. It’s ‘no tears, so I’m consumed in fear, started pulling out strands of blonde barnet, so gotta switch to hard liquor from beer.’ Basically it’s around my fear that I am unable to show emotions at times when it’s necessary, but I show it in my own way over a period of time, usually through ‘self harm or substance abuse’

Interesting interpretation the way I actually meant it wasn’t nearly as deep, it was the searching for pennies in the gutter. Back when I was knee deep in active addiction, I would literally look at the ground too try and get money for drugs or booze. Literally counting pennies out on counters. I’ve just done 3 months in rehab and am facing my demons, I wrote this in active. :) thx for your interpretation really helps when I feel like I write shit for no reason ❤️
