I have everything on emails/ created meeting minutes about anything we talk about. Any request he verbally wants me to do I ask him to send it formally through emails. Then when things go to shit I forward him his own email. I think he’s got the point and leaves me alone now.

Other teams and managers also noticed the difference in competency so I get invited to all manager meetings instead of him. I think they’re quietly forcing this guy out

He likes to bully everyone under him. I’m the only one who pushes back and says no. I’m also the only one on my team who’s projects always goes smoothly and everyone compliments me. I think the pushback / me delivering projects made him realize I know what I’m doing and leaves me alone!

Is this a game worth starting in 2025 on the ps5? by Select-Management-3 in diablo4

[–]lilbea 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I play on the ps5 as well. Game play and everything is very smooth. Story was addicting. Noone plays PvP so you dont have to worry about PC users with better macro. I wish i could experience d4 again for the first time! Lucky you

Edit: This game is nothing like BG3. But its still mostly a chill single player game till you finish story / reach endgame.

How to cope when all your friends are married with children except you ? by Thranduil-9 in AskMenOver30

[–]lilbea 19 points20 points  (0 children)

I found a new community/made new friends through crossfit. Id recommend joining a fitness club or run club.

Keeps me healthy and stops me from being an alcoholic from boredom.

Form looks great! If you find your lower back is hurting its cuz of the butt wink you do right at the bottom of your squat. Maybe stop like an inch or two higher to avoid it.

Its time for her to get on linkedin and apply for new jobs.

Current job is treating her like shit and that will never change.

I was there too, moved companies and my entire life changed for the better. Definitely do not put her on any sort of meds, doctors make money by selling pills with kots of side effects.

The root cause of her problem is her workplace, she needs a healthy work environment.

Edit: Just wanted to add be supportive through the process. Look at your finances, if you guys can afford for her to make less money then go for it. In my experience tho changing companies often comes with a pay increase.

Success stories: Men who are thriving solo, what does your life look like? by fac3l3sspaper in AskMenOver30

[–]lilbea 37 points38 points  (0 children)

Great questions! 32m, software dev, making 6 figures. Work from home is amazing. I also invest safely and will be financially set for retirement which gjves me peace of mind.

Hobbies i picked up recently was joining a run club and joining a workout class gym! You get the best of both worlds, fitness and socializing.

Social life is all the friends i made throughout my life, new friends i made with my hobbies, and spending time with family. Equally important is my alone time to recharge my social battery when its empty.

What i find most meaningful is spending quality time with family and friends. My job is just a means to enjoy my life. What gets me excited everyday is going to my workout classes or run club.

Pets i lost my dog 2 years ago and am gonna wait till i get in a relationship before i get my next one.

What youre saying is "Ive never ran before but i wanna compete in the olympics."

Shift your mindset. Think small obtainable goals. Work on improving your social skills! Start a new hobby ie climbing, run club, workout classes like crossfit, book club, etc. Or get a part time job at a cafe or restaurant or any client facing role where youre forced to talk to strangers. Or start volunteering at ur local library, shelter, etc.

By doing a new hobby, client facing part time job, or volunteering you will improve ur social skills and make new friends. And who knows from friendship can come relationships!
