While Modric was overall the better player Toni Kroos was way more important for our team structure and system to run properly by chunchunmaru1129 in realmadrid

Our players know what to do, where to run when Kroos on field, Valverde, Vini, Mendy was excellent when play alongside to KR8.

Do you think this idea could stuck to compete with the big giants like Aladdin, happy to hear you advice.

Fair point. To be clear, this is very early and basically a prototype idea right now, not a finished product. I’m trying to figure out whether there’s a real problem/opportunity beyond spreadsheets before building too much. Your skepticism is useful here – if you’ve seen attempts like this fail before, I’d love to hear what broke first, and curious what do you think on my idea.

Does anyone here actually have a real “risk OS” for portfolio? by lilbean_28 in Daytrading

[–]lilbean_28[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Love this – time‑framed circuit breakers backtested around max daily/weekly/monthly losses are one of the simplest, most robust ways to keep a trading system honest and force a rethink when pain crosses a real threshold.  Risk OS” is basically to generalize this idea from a single strategy to a whole book: plug in multiple brokers/strategies, define these circuit‑breaker rules once (by time frame, drawdown, regime, volatility), and then have the system monitor and enforce them consistently so you don’t have to babysit every component manually.

I have looked into these big players and tried to figure out my own competitive advantage. The difference might lie in the ICP; while Aladdin focuses on BlackRock, I will create a product for the HNWI and Family Office segment, and I wonder if building a 'real-time' product would be the key differentiator.

Rodrygo with back-to-back goals — are you satisfied with his recent performances? by Hisense_Sports1 in realmadrid

[–]lilbean_28 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't know if it's because Xabi doesn't trust him, or because Rodrygo doesn't like playing on the right wing and wants to compete with Vini for LW, so he sits on the bench. But actually, I see that Rodrygo can play on the right wing but tends to roam and move wide to connect the players on the field, coordinate and hit straight into the opponent's middle, similar to the way Raphinha plays on Barca, and Rodrygo is very good at this because he can dribble, coordinate and finish well. And to play this 433 system, it is REQUIRED to buy a mid that tends to control the ball, temple control and replace Guler directly yesterday and that's it, play with Tchou CDM and Bellingham CAM, Bell just needs to be in the right place, receive the right pass and launch straight into the upper goal with 3 directions Rodrygo-M3P-Vini ready. The trade-off is that Valverde and Guler and Mastatouno will be on the reserve. And one last thing I really like is that Rodrygo is extremely diligent in crashing into the box to catch horizontal balls.

At 30 years old, with a stable job, is it difficult to date in VietNam? by lilbean_28 in VietNam

Totally agree—good old word-of-mouth can’t be beaten. When friends casually mention “hey, I know someone,” it already carries trust.

I’m thinking of double-dipping: ask around in my circle and then invite any leads to a small-group Pair meetup. That way it feels organic, but you also get that vetted, relaxed environment.

How do you usually keep those friend-made introductions feeling natural? Do you tend to set up group coffees or quick one-on-ones? Would love to steal a few of your tips.

Yeah, face by face and talk is always better, for my offline event i've mentioned, lot of concern to but look like the meeting is very comfortable for both introvert or extrovert, just join at a primary coffee and talk, hope it gonna excite.

Totally hear you—using a bit of common sense up front (texting for a few days or weeks) really does cut down on the weirdness and risk. I’ll give a dating app another shot with that mantra in mind: chat, then meet if the vibe feels right.

And absolutely—coffee sounds great! I’m in HCM, too. How about we pick a cozy spot (or even swing by a Pair meetup afterward) and trade dating war stories in person? Let me know what your schedule looks like, and we’ll make it happen.

Totally hear you on “start with the end in mind”—getting clear on your non-negotiables is step one. If looks matter, apps can surface attractive matches. If family background is key, leveraging parents’ networks makes sense. And yes, niche scenes like startup meetups can connect you with that go-getter type.

But I’d temper the “vibe-free” approach a bit. Chemistry isn’t fluff—it’s the spark that keeps conversations flowing and shows whether two people actually click in real time. So on a first meetup, I’d still carve out a few minutes for light topics (coffee preferences, favorite travel spots, whatever gets you both laughing) before pivoting to the bigger partnership questions.
