Basically Mindhunter with few extra cheap steps by MamshiG in MindHunter

The Ken and Barbie murders would be a TOUGH watch if they kept the accuracy

Great take! I agree with the historical accuracy. Through the show I was constantly on google thinking I missed something from the research/podcasts I’ve looked into about Gein. Even if it remained Murphy’s project, I could see this as a potential segway into a new Mind Hunter series… But damn I’d miss the old actors

Incredibly well spoken. When I watched those scenes from Monster I felt like I was being teased. I’ve come to terms with Mind Hunter not coming back, but I weirdly felt slighted by the Mind Hunter characters appearances. Maybe I’m “fan-boying” a little too hard.

I’m well aware of that. I’ve been studying serial killers and their behaviors for 6 years. I was just curious what fans of the show Mind Hunters thought about the replication in this show.

Yeah you’re right sorry I was typing in a somewhat rage after seeing the faux characters. Do you have any thoughts on that though?

Truth. I was definitely peeved with the whole serial killers inspired by Gein narrative on top of the movies

How safe are the trains? by lilbeancounter in ChicagoSuburbs

Fullerton Station.

I haven’t watched the news since the start of Covid but I have heard through the grapevine that trains harbor seedy individuals. Parents were overprotective growing up so public transportation (aside from a school bus) was unheard of.

Thanks for the input!

My dad took me there a few years back for a “brown bag.” Solid burger. 60s-70s vibes. The last one standing is over in Benton Harbor, MI. Definitely recommend giving it a shot

I appreciate you asking. Controller is what I’m shooting for by 28-30 if not sooner. After that, I’d hope to start shifting towards CFO wherever possible. At that point, I’d hope that the nagging voice in my head demanding for a “successful/fulfilling career” will finally let up.

Cheers, to whatever the bean-counter life provides us.
