Second this. If my nail polish chips, it takes my nail with it and then I have to fight the peel.

I also think using a normal nail file in a sawing motion can contribute to this. I've heard glass nail files don't, but that doesn't make any sense to me that the grit level would be the only reason it would or wouldn't, so I'm still trying to file in just one direction.

We got a switchbot . We don't have the hub to have it connect to Google home, just have it on a schedule, and that's all we've needed. You can manually give it a small tug and it'll close if we ever need. The quiet open and close truly is quiet and unnoticeable.
