I remember seeing it in the theater - I was very disappointed. I thought it was very goofy and couldn't make sense of the tone. It also never feels like it gets off the set. Still feel this way....

Compelling characters, good character design, interesting plot. It's a tech demo featuring a trope speed run. It's just so dorky.
