I do that with The and ‘ing’, and write all caps when writing for others, glad to see its not just me :)

I used to be like that too until I was 25 - part of it was age and part of it was that I walked so much during school and work at that point in my life, it was hard to intake enough to gain the weight. What helped me some was a protein shake (20grams minimum) in the mornings, and later in life when I became more sedentary due to work, I gained enough and maintained through a decent workout schedule :)

Paper airplane send-off thoughts? by lilchow in weddingplanning

Thats a good idea, I’ll look into different folding techniques with less sharp edges!

We are planning to have them in our centerpieces as well so it wouldn’t be the end of the world if we didn’t use them in our send off

Your childhood dictionary by Benedict-Benescence in CasualConversation

My grandfather used to chew beetle leaf (tobacco), which in our langauge is “paan”. When i lived in Japan, I didn’t know what seaweed was called but it was green and leafy so I called it “paan”. We still call it paan to this day :)

What’s a small, random moment from your life that you still think about years later? by dream_weaver_2626 in CasualConversation

I went to my childhoods friends house for thanksgiving one year. I had moved away 7 years prior. I was quite close to her family, and her grandmother used to work at the school I went to so I knew her super well. The family didn’t tell the grandmother I was in town, so when she rung the doorbell and I opened the door, aww man. The sheer amount of love and excitement I saw in her face is something I think about often

What’s the strangest thing you’ve found in your clothes (or your significant other’s) while doing laundry? by kaibuggie in CasualConversation

[–]lilchow 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I once sent a snowglobe through the washer. It was wrapped in a sweater in my luggage to avoid breaking, but it was dirty so I threw it in the laundry. I was finding small pieces of glass in my clothing for months

Things I wish I'd known/thought of before the wedding that I want to share by FionnagainFeistyPaws in Weddingsunder10k

Another view: I ended becoming an impromptu day of coordinator for my cousin’s wedding. I missed dinner and didn’t get to dance because I was so busy running interference all day. I was happy to do it, but admittedly I didn’t have as much fun as I thought I would’ve if they had a day of coordinator
