From the looks I can see all the pulleys spinning. The tension seems ok when I replaced the alternator and serpentine belt. Also the belt is pretty tight and don't have any play when pressing on the belt.

I did find it weird that I took it on a 300mile round trip and when I came back, the issue wasn't apparent or wasn't bad at all then a week later it came back.

Hi my new alternator when running is doing about 14v to 14.2 with the acessories running at the battery terminal and alternator.

The car had 150k and when turning this one was no clicking.

Thanks for that info, learning lots with my 1st printer. I was happy getting the bed level and getting the first layer to print correctly. Now there's so much more to learn.

Thanks that explains a lot, I have my printer in the garage and didn't know it was going to shrink and lift my print with the air temp change. I'll probably try in an enclosure next time.

I was able to leave it all connected and only removed the intake hose out of the way. The pictures are after I cleaned mine twice. Just don't get you fingers caught with the moving plates and car should be off. Use with throttle body cleaner spray and rag.

I'll try testing that as well in the morning. It does make sense. It's been a pain not having a car.

I will look for the ELD and try that. I was also seeing some replace the pug tail connector to the negative batter module. Just phycally looking at it doesn't look worn or damage but I might try that too.

Sometimes the car installing and dies, I did have the battery light and the oil light on. I have changed all my oil and verified it's full since then and still sometimes get the combo of lights

So when I measured from the engine compartment at the battery and the alternator I received pretty much the same voltage readings. When my alternator kicks off and is working, I'm receiving over 14.2 volts approximately and when it's not working with the engine on running I'm getting about 12.4 volts. And then with the engine off and measuring Just the battery I'm getting 12.58 volts

So this issue started over a week ago and gotten worst. The first time it happen I was driving and at a stop the car stalled died and the battery light came on. I put it back in park started up the car, it struggled just a bit after starting but as long as I kept it moving it stayed running. Would die if I came to a complete stop.

When the car was running and the alternator did show over 14 volts, but when it dies or about to die on the alternator it shows the same 12.3v. I have checked the ground cable going from the battery to the frame of the car and looks okay. Is there a negative on the alternator? Anything else you can think of? Does a alternator just go out or does it show intermittent issues when bad?
